Motel 6 Suites Memphis Airport, TN

You will have to get the card key to your room re-keyed every night because the key pad on the door doesn't function. One night, I got to the hotel after 10:00PM and there was no one at the front desk, the 662 does not work. I had to leave the hotel at 1:00 AM to find another hotel room for another $108.00. Oh yes, there is no hair dryer, no ironing board NOTHING. Even the sheets were stained. There are lots and lots of roaches and mice. This place is more than disgusting and should be shut down immediately by the Health Department. There are no restaurants or shops near by.

Room was stated cleaned. The door wouldn't open came back down to inform front desk that maybe someone was already checked in but she went up to check it and it was no one already checked and told us we have to leave the key in pull the door forward and bump the door open. We get into the room it was infested with gnats found a trash can under the cabinet with garage inside with gnats as well. We went back down to the front desk and the young lady told use she can refund our deposit for the room and that she had no other rooms available that was the last room so we left and did not stay due to the fact the room was listed as cleaned and it was not at all. Now I have to go through expedia and get a refund on the entire hotel payment although we didn't even stay at all we have to find another hotel after we had already booked at this one and couldn't even stay.

The property was filthy. No clean linen to shower. The bed linen was filthy. No kitchen utensils and the sole towel was dirty. The worst stay ever. If I hadn’t prepaid I would have left upon seeing the property. I was also charge for electricity, a first ever and I have visited all 50 states.

The room was clean but no nightstand , hangers,phone, toilet tissue. Poor cable choices. Plus the power went out on Saturday evening about 6pm and they the emergency generator supplied lights for the hallway and the power was off for the rest of that night even until we checked out on Sunday morning it hadn't regained any power still in the dark at 10am.

Cons: The elevator was out so we had to take the stairs. The stairs smelled terribly like all kinds of smells. The hallway carpet on the 3rd floor was dirty you can see stains and the hallway smelled. However I attributed that smell to the fact that, it is extended stay so in the rooms. so many different cooking smells was coming out of the hallway. Other than that the room was nice, clean and big, close to hwy and food, that was the best part of the whole stay. This was an impromptu decision in route to St Louis so you get what you get when you book last minute

The place is a dump and isn’t safe.

The worst,look worst maintain, worst look. But damn clean 3 days later I still smell like Bleach.

Room was falling apart…floors were dirty…as soon as you walked into the hotel it smelt like cigarettes

It was terrible place had to go get towels and a microwave from downstairs. Floor was dirty and sticky at night there was cook roaches on counter. Holes in wall. We canceled 2nd night and im still waiting for my refund and deposit

Out there in parking g lot were bags and bags of trash piled up. Honestly I was shocked

The ladies working here were the only thing good about the whole place

Will pay the extra and stay elsewhere next time.

My room was very clean and the staff was very friendly! Carpet and stairs very not very well maintained
