Residence Inn by Marriott Memphis Downtown

The hotel is in a beautiful historic building just a few blocks from Beale Street. We loved our room, which was very spacious. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet that was included in the price of our room was great. We would definitely stay there again the next time we are in Memphis.

Breakfast was great! Rooms clean. Staff was amazing. Our air-conditioned went out and they came right away to fix.

We arrived on a Friday evening and immediately were met by valet to park our car. We got our car in and out several times over the weekend and it was always smooth about 5-10 minutes at most from calling to retrieve it and immediate for returns. Our check in was easy and quick and our room was clean and relatively quiet considering we were right next to an elevator. We had a nice view and could even see the Peabody from our room. We loved the Starbuck’s in the hotel and partook of their offerings each morning. There is a full breakfast buffet each morning from 7-10 but we didn’t use it as we were out by 7 each day. The staff was super friendly and helpful too! They made our stay even better. I highly recommend this hotel for a very reasonable priced place to stay in downtown Memphis!

No pool

I highly recommend this hotel. The location was pefect. It's within walking distance to Beale St. and a short drive to Graceland. The staff was very accomodating and the hotel offered a nice breakfast to start your day.

The staff, location and services were amazing. All staff from the front desk, valet, breakfast attendants, and housekeepers were welcoming and helpful. Loved the roof top deck and on-site Starbucks. Easy walk to almost all the major tourist attractions, parks, economy and high end restaurants, and the waterfront. Most impressive was the size of the room. Our suite was the size of a large apartment with a private bedroom area. The laundry service was great including free detergent and dryer sheets but the location of the washer/dryer area was a little isolated on the top floor.

They was not pleased with no fruit for breakfast, no pool on premises & had to purchase parking. We travel to Memphis multiple times from July through December & this was our first stay at this hotel where my parking was not provided.

The staff was amazing. Very welcoming and helpful. The hotel had character. Very clean.Enjoyed the suite. We were there for an early flight, and they were very accommodating to bring our car around and make sure we were safely on our way .Will stay here again, primarily for the hospitality.

Everyone was wonderful! We loved the convenience of valet parking. Huge hit for me was the Starbucks inside the hotel!

Friendly staff with clean rooms

There were net flying in my room. The tile rack was almost about to come off. There were no electrical plugs in the bathroom so I had to go in and out of the bathroom to plug my curling iron up. That was a very annoying experience for me.

The friendly, staff, breakfast and great location

This hotel was extremely nice. The amenities were excellent, room clean and spacious, valet and receptionist were Amazing. Love the breakfast variety!
