Candlewood Suites Boise-Meridian by IHG

A great place to spend a week while visiting family. The free washer and dryers were a great amenity. We enjoyed the spa as well after long days.

Clean room, comfortable bed, convenient kitchenette

The staff, location and property were great. However, the mattress was worn out and pretty uncomfortable. Otherwise a great stay.

Unfortunately, my second stay was completely different. As soon as I entered my room, I noticed a very strong, unpleasant odor. I reported it immediately and asked to switch rooms, but I was told the hotel was fully booked and that maintenance and housekeeping would resolve the issue the next morning. Instead, it took three more days, multiple follow-ups with the hotel staff, and assistance from Expedia before I was finally moved. The replacement room didn’t have the same odor, but it wasn’t fully cleaned and it had an overpowering smell of cleaning products or essential oils, probably to cover any odors, that was also uncomfortable. The worst part was the smell was much stronger whenever AC was running so I had to turn off AC in the middle of the summer, with windows that could barely open two inches. After paying a premium for the stay, it was frustrating to avoid returning to my room because it was so unpleasant to be in.

They had the hot water for each shower and the pillows are marked firm or soft with nice embroidery sticking loved the hot coffee 24/7 excellent fresh fruit basket complimentary staff was attentive big parking space

Maybe plan another trip closer to Canadian border Towns next year.

It was a great stay when I was traveling for work. But the one night I finally used the hot tub it was ruined by another guest bringing a speaker and a beer into the hot tub area. I complained to staff and when they spoke to the guest nothing was done about the situation. It left me dissatisfied and I never used the hot tub again. Beyond that it was a great stay for the week.

Staff was great. Room was pretty good with a large fridge. Shower door would sometimes slide open when showering. Location of property was convenient for us. Parking lot gets crowded by night, Free use of washers and dryers great.

Kitchen fully equipped and everything wasexcellent

Clean large suite with super comfortable beds. Shower and bathroom were great with strong pressure. Great hot tub 24 hours. Nice basic breakfast…not hot but free stuff to pick from and fresh ground coffee 24 hours. Everything was great

I booked a room with two beds and only received one.

Safe area, friendly staff, could use some more tv stations but all in all id recommend.
