WoodSpring Suites Merrillville

Our room was an extended stay (we were only there one night) and there was some unnamed red sauce splattered on the ceiling. There was an entire kitchen drawer missing, the floors were sticky - I didn’t take my shoes off until I got into the bed. The bed was fine, sheets seemed clean but the room itself felt like I was renting from a college frat. The bathroom had dirt caked in the corners annd something splattered on the light switch and you could smell the cigarettes from the room next door through the air vent. If I could have gotten a refund we would have left. Thankfully we were only there the one night.

Loved the staff it was clean and quiet I just wished they offered cooking stuff instead of having to buy them

A real dump!

Came in quite late at night and took a while for staff to respond so I can check in. Didn’t like the response of the staff after responding. Had to call multiple times before I could check in.

Room was clean and parking was easy. Staff was having issues with using my card, little effort seemed to have been put in to try and solve the issue. Had to use a different card then what was originally on my file

Everything was great with one exception. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels/motels in my life, but I've never before been told, "We don't make wake-up calls."

The shower. Things in the room didn't work.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to try to find a way to extend my stay when I need it to.

At first staff was rude and our room wasn’t ready. We had just travelled 4 hours to get there and were told no public restrooms were available and told to go to the mall for one. But then saw the were public restrooms when our room was finally available.

Was quiet for having all the shopping available
