Hyatt Place Phoenix/Mesa

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were not very comfortable. The staff was nice and the breakfast was really good.

Safe location, clean rooms and property. Extremely comfortable beds with great linens. Both my husband and I love down pillows, but 4 rather small standard down pillows were not enough for a King size bed.The pool area was nice, but way too many small kids splashing and playing in the hot tub all the way up to the 10pm closing time for us to venture in. The hotel is currently being “refreshed” to new lobby and room decor and furniture, and except for large storage containers and big trucks taking up the majority of the parking spaces on the side and back of the property, there was virtually no noise or inconvenience. Breakfast was good, plentiful selection and quickly replenished.

Due to construction, the place could’ve been an excellent stay. I am willing to stay at Hyatt again in future travels.

Great and accommodating check in front desk person. Room was clean and comfortable. Had problems with the AC, which periodically made strange noises. Also hard to control the hot and cold on shower faucet.

Excellent stay my only complaint would be that the AC unit needed service or repair as it was having a hard time keeping the room cool during the day.

This is my family’s favorite hotel. It fits all 6 of us perfectly. The pool is amazing, breakfast is wonderful. I appreciate the options for gluten and lactose free options.

Couch looked like it was pulled in off of the street. Have stayed at this hotel not long ago and it was great. Assuming that the couch is a temporary problem.

other than that great place to stay, I'll definitely stay there again.

Mattress’s are way too mushy and stingy with pillows!

Unfortunately, the boilers went out and from the very first day there was not any hot water This happened through no fault of their own. It was weather related, but it was disappointing.

Starting with the good— the person checking us in was kind and helpful. Breakfast is quite good as it usually is for Hyatt Place. Pool was pretty good. The not good—AC unit was incredibly noisy. We didn’t have hot water for showers one night. Lots of airplane noise at night from PHX Sky Harbor. When we checked out and was asked “how was your stay” I said “fair” and the person didn’t seem all that interested in what wasn’t good or seeing if anything could be improved.
