Balfour Miami Beach, a Registry Collection Hotel

The staff was very attentive and caring; there was always someone available to help me with any questions. As a solo traveler I felt safe in the hotel and the room was cleaned daily. This hotel is quiet and great if you want easy access to Ocean Drive and quiet so you can sleep. The splash pool was very nice, but the water is warm, no shade from the sun. The rooms on floor four on the older side of the hotel unfortunately had a feces smell, and my toilet stopped flushing, while quaint and very comfortable I had to request a room change. The room on the modern side while nice however are converted from a parking garage and not enough lighting, very dark. Considering rooms in South Beach this is a very nice quite, mostly clean hotel with a good Mediterranean restaurant and welcome drinks and the staff is great. I would recommend booking and requesting the modern side and request extra lamps.

The two complimentary welcome drinks from a dedicated welcome drink menu were a nice touch and a great way to start the vacation. The hotel itself is quaint, clean, and has a charming boutique feel. My king room was spacious, and the blackout curtains were excellent, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep or sleep in if you wanted to. The staff was consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. No matter the time, there always seemed to be someone available to answer questions or assist with anything I needed. The pool is better described as a plunge pool than a traditional swimming pool. The water was quite warm—almost like a bathtub—but it was still enjoyable for relaxing and cooling off. The hotel is within easy walking distance of numerous restaurants, cafés, and the beach, making it an excellent choice for exploring South Beach. As a solo traveler, I felt safe throughout my stay. The only areas that could use improvement are the hallway carpeting, which is showing its age, and the Wi-Fi, which was spotty at times and occasionally unreliable. La recepcionista nos indicó que si estaba incluido el desayuno y nos cobraron 70 dólares, alquile tres habitaciones, una no funcionaba la ducha, en la 318 que yo me quede el baño olía muy mala, y tras de eso uno puede escuchar perfectamente lo que le pasa en el piso de arriba, se escuchan pasos, y hoy me llegan dos cobros extras, y no me indican de que son.

Great quieter location close to busier section of Ocean Drive. Across the road from the beach and towels and beach chairs provided. Helpful and friendly staff. Great air conditioning in the room. Very small bathroom. Unable to open the bedroom window. Although staff were great, there wasn’t that many of them so often had to look for someone for assistance. Hotel was a little run down and some furniture in our room could do with being replaced.

I really enjoyed my stay! This boutique hotel was perfect for my quick getaway!

Great spot! Walk across the street to the beach. Resort fee included bike rental and beach chair and umbrella which was really nice. Elevator worked sometimes. Small bathroom but great price and quality hotel for area.

The staff was amazing!

Quiet location to sleep, no bar noise. Super nice room with mini bar and coffee maker, clothes steamer and super nice modern decor and clean! This will be my fave secret location to stay in MIA!!

Location Nothing

Overall the hotel is good. The location is pretty great. The majority of the staff were friendly and helpful. The only two things I didn’t like were: 1) a loud AC 2) cramped bathroom. There was not much room to lay out all our toiletries. But it was a relatively minor issue.

It was a comfortable stay and friendly staff.
