Beacon Hotel South Beach

Everything was great however the elevator was out for 2 days and we were in the 5th floor so that was a bit inconvenient .

Place was dated. Air conditioning did not stop working and loud.

The hotel was very nice and old. I loved the history and thinking of all the guests that may of stayed there over the years😊restaurant was amazing food and staff. Would definitely go back.

The bed was a little off balance. Other than that, excellent service.

The rooms were super moist and disgusting. My son got sick from the moisture in the room. All our clothes felt wet but was dry when we arrived. I will never ever stay here again. Do NOT RECOMMENDED

It wasn’t the venue’s fault, but World Cup activity in town meant that the only parking available was in a public structure three blocks away. When I arrive with an exotic sports car, I am not comfortable with a parking situation, such as this. I’m fairly certain that they do better all the time, but I just didn’t see it on my visit.

Would not recommend. Rooms were not properly maintained. Phone inside room did not work.

On the positive, the hotel is just across the street from the ocean and you can pick up complimentary beach towels at reception.

The TV may not work so you will need to contact the front desk to have a maintenance guy check it out for you, however you may need to use your mobile or walk to the front desk to let them know because the room phone does not work. Oh and the maintenance guy does not speak English, so you may need to translate with the steps needed for him to fix the TV, just make sure you know how to speak Spanish.

The location and staff was perfect. Rooms are small but clean.

Nuestra experiencia fue regular. El personal fue muy amable y atento durante toda la estancia, lo cual apreciamos mucho. Sin embargo, la habitación resultó demasiado pequeña para mi esposo, mis dos hijos y para mí. Además, no había suficiente espacio para acomodar nuestra ropa y pertenencias. Otro inconveniente fue el baño, ya que el agua de la ducha no drenaba correctamente y se acumulaba en el piso. Aunque el servicio fue bueno, las instalaciones podrían mejorar para ofrecer una estancia más cómoda a las familias.

I stayed for the weekend. I didn’t really stay in the hotel because I wanted to enjoy Miami. You can hear everything happening on the street

Very neat deco style. Excellent AC in the rooms.

Location was great! Loved the vibe of the area. Room was quiet and comfortable.
