There is no vent fan in the bathroom, room 223 is against the alley you will be awakened at 8am daily by the sound of 5 trash dumpsters being dropped to the ground from 5 or 10 feet. The room is small the bathroom tiny you may need to remove the paper roll from the holder so that you can sit on the toilet normally.

Absolutely the best stay. All the staff made me and my daughter feel so safe and welcome. I have no complaints. The food was amazing and the close proximity to the beach is wonderful! Next time we are in Miami we will most definitely be back to the Avalon. Thank you all everything.

It was what I was expecting. These old hotels are a little gross but close to the beach.
