The Colony Hotel

We never stayed there. We were relocated by the Colony to stay at the Kent. There were 6 couples in our party and we were notified via email just a two days before. We were all in a cruise so most of us did not get the emails until the day before because we were on a cruise. The only thing I can say that is good is that when we arrived at The Kent, all of our reservations had been transferred from The Colony. We never even got to stay there.

Location Parking is challenging

Best location everything super close No drinking water in the rooms and the whole hotel that's ridiculous I hope they Will change in the future I don't think it's a huge investment for The hotel if they put 2 bottle of water in every room.

This is the perfect vacation spot for any family. Everything is so close and at night the light look beautiful. Full of shops, restaurants and convenience stores everywhere. No need to rent a car if you are planning a stay here.

Exceptional

The room was not what I expected..it stunk like strong cologne or perfume and the blankets felt used the bathroom smelled. I know it’s old so I feel like that comes with the old property but then again I don’t know. It was ok I wouldn’t stay again but maybe it’s fine for others. It appeared clean but when you look closely blankets seemed dirty. Maybe a good location I think I’m just to old to stay here and to sober…

great location no parking

Our first room was horrible. Not clean shower and bad smell in bathroom. The manager put us in a different room but at a discounted rate. We appreciated it and like the new room better.

The location was great! No microwave to reheat food bought from their restaurant

The hotel is across the street from the beach. They have towels, umbrellas, and chairs for the guests to take with them.

Location, Smell of dampness in the bed room

The staff was awesome. Wes checked us in early after getting off our cruise. The room was nice, The room smelled a bit, but the smell went away. Very close to beach and restaurants.
