Cardozo Hotel South Beach

Great placement along Ocean Drive! Saturday night was loud but we’re not in Miami Beach to sleep! The food on site was incredible! Having choices right where you’re staying is perfect! The live music out front was awesome. We didn’t get to take advantage of all the amenities which isn’t a terrible thing since there are so many and we got lucky that the hotel coffee pot was directly outside of our suite on the second floor! Luis was very helpful and inviting upon our arrival. This stay was pure perfection! Gloria knows how to make you feel welcomed in Miami!!

We were woken up by a guest at 4 am in the morning, trying to force themselves into our room. We told her to go away she stayed in the hallway the entire time screaming for her partner. At 7:30 went downstairs to asked for help to resolve this issue nothing was done, I asked to call the police and front desk person refused to do so. The manager Indhyra Ortigoza refused to address the situation and not issued a refund for all the disturbances we suffered. Very unprofessional.

This hotel was amazing! We will be back! Staff was great and so accommodating to us during our stay. Rooms were perfect for us. We enjoyed using the bikes that were available to us. This is the perfect location.

I like it wasn’t too far from the beach. Room was nice clean but no ice machine on the 3rd floor, no microwave or fridge. Parking was supposed to be valet and wasn’t due to World Cup was in town. Restaurant was in the hotel the food and staff was excellent.

Lovely stay in an iconic hotel. Even though it was crazy busy with World Cup visitors, the staff were helpful and service was good. On-site restaurant is excellent and the location can't be beat.

The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to check in early when possible.

Loved our stay. So clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, and we used the bikes, beach chairs and towels (a great plus!). Will definitely come back.

Location, room set up, bar open late! Nothing - other than there needs to be a mirror in the main room.

The restaurant experience was similarly frustrating. After being seated, we waited 15–20 minutes before receiving any assistance, and only after we asked. There appeared to be ample staff present, but service was noticeably slow. They were quick to add a service charge to the bill although the service was lacking. The server also quick to inform we could add an additional tip as the service charge is split amongst all staff. The amenities also fell short of expectations. Beach chairs were available, but guests were required to carry them themselves, and no umbrellas were provided. The complimentary bikes were a nice offering, but the one-hour usage limit felt restrictive. Overall, the property has potential and benefits from a great location, but significant improvements in customer service and guest support would greatly enhance the experience.

Very close to the beach, this historic hotel is very pleasant. There is a restaurant and bar, which is useful, but there are numerous restaurants within walking distance. The regular rooms are small, but comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The elevator is tiny, from a bygone era, which can be a problem for larger groups with a lot of luggage. Overall, we had a very positive experience, and would definitely stay there again.
