The reception staff were very attentive, especially a slightly older gentleman who works in the mornings. Thank you.

I just want to say that Cavalier hotel was exceptional. If I could give 10 stars I would. Philip and Alejandro were amazing! Very kind, helpful and willing to make sure your stay is worth your while. I brought my 9 year old with me and it was perfect being so close to the beach. Very clean hotel, and the rooms were nice and comfortable. The food was great, and the overall vibe was perfect. Can’t wait to come back! If you are looking to come with friends or family this is a beautiful hotel with amazing people running it. For the price you will not be disappointed.

The rooms need a place to hang up wet beach clothes and it also needs chairs or love seat in the room.

We loved the hotel decor, the welcoming of the hotel staff. Philip, front desk was very helpful, friendly and went out of his way to take our luggage to the Lyft pick up location down the sidewalk(they do not come on Ocean Drive for pick up). We have breakfast, was good and satisfying. Philip provided a map and pointed out different places for us. The room was nice and clean. We particularly liked the unique elevator. We found the room’s bathroom sink area was really small as we didn’t have place to store our toiletries. We loved the shower and the rain shower head.

Perfect location for nightlife, restaurants, shops and the beautiful beach. Staff couldn’t be any more friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Controlled air conditioning was a$$. The guy that checked us in wasn't very pleasant and we felt like we were an inconvenience. The woman and the older gentleman were very nice however. Stayed in a room that was next door to the maids closet to which they start cackling around 6am each day and next to the elevator that the door slams shut every time someone goes in or out. Didn't get our free bottle of wine at check in. The mini fridge didn't work well and was frozen up inside. The "make up" mirror was about to fall off the hinge. The shower design gets water all over the small bathroom floor.

Based on the pictures, I was really excited about this hotel. The photos made it look beautiful and gave me the impression that it would be a great fit for what I was looking for. Upon arrival I was a little skeptical. The hotel is somewhat beautiful and you can definitely see the theme they were going for, but in my opinion, the property is in need of some remodeling and updating. One of the highlights of my stay was the gentleman at the front desk. He was an older gentleman with light colored hair and glasses, and he was extremely pleasant and welcoming. I really appreciated his customer service.Unfortunately, my room was located on the main level where the front desk and lobby are, which I wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a quiet stay. There was quite a bit of noise coming from the lobby, including people eating, drinking, and dining. My room itself was okay, but there were several things that became frustrating throughout my stay. The toilet did not flush properly. The shower was another issue the water would accumulate and the shower would flood. There was no safety mechanism or lock on the window. The telephone in my room also did not work. It displayed “Network Down,”. There was also no microwave in the room. Overall, I think the hotel has potential. The location is convenient if you want to be close to the beach. The maintenance and safety concerns were the biggest issue for me. I would keep looking if you want a family friendly hotel as well.
