Amazing hotel, staff and location. Lovely guy looked after us, the reception manager (Italain I think, travelled lots). Outstanding service and a great guy. Rooms actually better than the pictures, we all loved them. Very clean, cool and great decor - beautiful place and restaurant too. 2 mins walk to Ocean drive and the beach, perfect.

Nice small boutique hotel with beautiful rooms. The restaurant is fantastic. Across the street is $20 parking for 24 hours. The pool at the sister hotel is great if you can get a lounge chair in the shade. They clean the room each day. Location is perfect for walking north, south or to the beach. Alfonso is the best. Cons: 35$ Fee for beach use umbrella/lounge chair. No iron/board in room. No large mirror in room ( to see if my shoes match my outfit ). No breakfast. Our room faced Collins Ave so we heard cars, people and the restaurant music.

It had a luxury Italian vibe! Spacious rooms (neutral, clean design) Nespresso coffee Steps away from the most delicious Italian food restaurant we have tried offering homemade pasta. Delicious evening cocktails. Enjoyed our stay and we will be back! Stone family We loved everything but think a light pastry breakfast in room dining could be an option. The property did provided guest vouchers at their sister property across the street which was nice.

What an amazing property! My spouse and I came for his birthday celebration and we had a time of our life. The hotel was in a convenient area, surrounded by restaurants and shops. The room is absolutely gorgeous, very well designed. The staff was extremely friendly and took care of everything we needed. Definitely 10/10.

Our stay at the Donatella was wonderful! It was close to everything, yet still quiet and peaceful. The villa atmosphere was relaxing and felt luxurious. Staff were always accommodating and predictive in what we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Good

The bathroom is enormous and the shower is spectacular. The curtains could be thicker since there is a DJ balcony right outside the window that faces the bathroom and we could see people. Bathrobes were a great addition, slippers would have been appreciated. They need a full length mirror and steamers in the room. If you have any accessibility concerns I would caveat that the only way upstairs was via a spiral staircase. Luckily the staff gave us support to carry our bags upstairs but we weren’t as lucky on the way down. I am sure if we had asked for help the staff would have come through but we decided we would be able to handle taking bags down. We did get to store our bags at the hotel which was a huge plus, and added a lot of convenience to our day. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. For context we have stayed at the Betsy and Victor before. This ended up being a more elegant and cozy vibe.

Great location in the heart of South Beach. Excellent personnel, very friendly and professional. The decoration and broader design of the rooms is beautiful/top. Bar serves very nice cocktails too

The staff were the stars of the show , and the beautiful design of the hotel and rooms were also stunning. We will be back.

Beautiful property reminiscent of a European hotel. For instance, check in is at the bar as opposed to a front desk. The rooms are large and gorgeous; ours was in the back and quiet, just some background noise from the kitchen and the restaurant in the courtyard below. Our travel partners had a room on the street side and mentioned the street noise was quite prominent. Fabulous food at the restaurant. Great location, very walkable; we chose to uber from the airport and skip the car which worked very well. Again, I felt like I was in Italy; even most of the staff spoke Italian.

It was clean and location is good . I don’t like the toilet room was without door

Definitely needs better management though it’s not enough for a one person to run the hotel their primary focus is on restaurant not hotel They need more people full time to run this place just for the hotel part NOT restaurant We will had a good time and like I said beautiful property
