I think everything is fine; I liked everything.
-
it was great. always a party. restaurants at hotel were great. staff was great. great location.
-
Location was the best thing about the hotel it won’t hurt to do some renovations , specially the main carpet in the hotel was musty and old
-
Prime location. Literally walking distant to almost anything you need. The TV in my room didn’t work due to the lack of internet connection. I called the front desk plus approached the desk numerous times and there was no one there to assist me after 8pm. So there’s that. Also, the pool closes at 7pm, pretty early.

The room was very dated and not in the building I booked for. They actually have three different buildings which isn't explained until you arrive. Room had hair in the bed and shower was wet as if someone had been using it! Checked, and moved to another hotel.

Staff could’ve helped me with my bags
-
It was clean but poor customer service
-
The location of the hotel is great but the room service could have do better especially changing linens and trash deposit
-
The pool area needs updating the floors and surfaces look very old the hallway could use fresh carpeting and the elevator was really small at the maxine. The restaurant staff even though they worked right outside of the pool didnt know the hours which was a shock. The towels were great the room was nice and clean , the bathroom was also out dated but everything worked well which was great. Had a good stay and met my needs

Terrible experience, not clean and staff isn’t helpful.

Ok sooo this was my second d time here….i was so disappointed this time around. The room they gave us needs work! Mold in bathroom is a big no no! Floor was cracked, rust on the floor. Bed was ok, but not as good as my first visit. Staff was excellent; no issues at all, but the hall way carpet needs cleaning
-
I enjoyed my stay. Everything was amazing! Only complaint I got is that the hallways smell like mold or mildew.
-
And the most horrible thing, that with the heat of Miami the air conditioning was thrown off and they took a long time to go, ahh you rent a hotel and they send you to another
-
When I first arrived I wasn’t happy with my room and the cleanliness but they put us in another room in a different building and it was perfect and the staff was great and made the necessary adjustments
-
Whenever we visit South Beach our go to hotel is the Catalina great staff and great amenities
-
This hotel is old and needs to be tore down! I hated the smell of the room. Shower has mold. The carpet by the elevator mildew! I didn’t expect much for the price but come on!!

YouTube made this hotel look a million times better than it was in reality, it was so bad the only saving grace was that the sunscreen by the pool was free. First check in was an absolute nightmare. No assistance or explanation to assist finding our room. Finally realized after using a translator app that we had to enter through a bar in a different building as 80% of the staff did not speak English whatsoever. When we reached the room I was worried about bed bugs. Everything was just dirty and stained. Bathroom dirty, toilet was broken, sheets dirty, ac unit barely worked, but what made me the most angry was the atrocious customer service. It was so bad the day we checked out that the barista in the main lobby and I had to exchange words. Rude, disrespectful and downright mean to my wife to the point I had to take a second to calm down. Avoid this hotel at all costs, I don’t care how cheap it seems. The attached eatery and bars were astronomically expensive. 150$ for two tacos and a bucket of beer, everything was an unexpected upcharge. If you are single and don’t care about customer service or clean sheets, then roll the dice, otherwise, no. Just. No.

Check in was slow…room not available at 4pm as stated on day of arrival.
