Clinton Hotel South Beach

The room itself was clean overall, and the bedding was comfortable and clean. However, there was a very noticeable musty/moldy smell in the room, almost like a wet room that had been closed up all summer. It was definitely odd and made the room less enjoyable. The shower was also disappointing. The grout appeared to have mold, and honestly, I would recommend wearing shower shoes. The pool is extremely small, but the service was great. I did appreciate the complimentary sunscreen and aloe available in the lobby. At check-in, I was given a VIP card offering 15% off food and drinks at the restaurant connected to the hotel. However, the restaurant only serves breakfast and brunch, so the discount wasn't particularly useful during my stay. I was also given two complimentary drink coupons, but was told they could only be used the following day—not on the day of check-in. Since I had to leave for the airport at 5:00 a.m. the next morning, I wasn't able to use them. I found that policy a little strange, especially since the drinks were offered as a perk of my stay. Overall, while the staff were excellent and there were some nice touches, I wouldn't stay here again. For the price, I think there are better options available with cleaner and better-maintained facilities.

It was a huge cocktail roach in the room. 2 room was moist. No wash clothes. I had to go the front desk 3x to get some.

Clean room with all the amenities we needed. Having the brunch spot right there was a bonus! We had a great time and would recommend staying here.

The room itself was clean. My TV had issues they had to come back and fix it. The second time I just gave up.. I opt it for a balcony. The balcony was facing the units directly across from me so I could see directly into their room. I could not open my curtains and walk around unless I was fully dressed I could not enjoy my balcony because it felt uncomfortable staring into the people’s room and they had underwear hanging on their window.. so the balcony and the view was to put it politely not ideal at all. The pool is dirty. The pool chairs were dirty. Staff was amazing. The room was clean and the staff was amazing. It’s only the terrace/balcony and the pool in the chairs..

The photos that Hotel Clinton advertise are not ACCURATE. The bedframe is filthy and torn The bed was hard and the pillows were so flat No assistance with luggage There are no beach loungers, they give you beach folding chairs to carry on your back. Room doors DO NOT LOCK Happy hour is over at 6pm or before if the restaurant decides to close early. The Entire CLINTON HOTEL is a BAMBOOZLE!!!!!! My vacation was ruined

This is an older hotel and the pool was very small. I liked the location of the hotel, but you could hear all of the outside noise. Down side to this hotel, there is no on site parking.

Check in was great 👍 to front desk Sergio. Josh and Samantha..very helpful and friendly. The night staff I'll give a 5 star not to welcoming to the night front desk. The housekeeping staff great also Very pleasant ( Edith) on the 4th floor. The breakfast was great. Disappointed in the baby pool .slow and small elevator..and the closing of the gym..???

I was very unhappy with my stay. From the lounge chairs by the pool being discolored from dirt to the fact they didnt want to refund me my $100 deposit. And not to forget trying to charge me $50 for an earlier check in after saying they would accommodate for free once the room wasnt occupied. Very disappointing.
