Kaskades Hotel South Beach

The toilet and the showers facilities especially the steam! Dated overall needs maintinance.

The location of the property was great as it was near all the hotspots of Miami/South Beach. The signage of the property was poor which made it difficult to find at first. The lobby area was desolate and needs to be addressed as there was clutter and different things that were visible to guests. Was advised there was no public parking and valet was $40 a day. Almost was advised a $300 hold on our card would be placed for the room. This was kind of unpleasant. There was an ant infestation on the patio area as well. Pool was still closed.

Room was updated and really nice; location was good very walkable and near many shops and restaurants. A couple of issues: shower initially drained very slowly but staff addressed it immediately and was no longer an problem, also the ice machine was in another building. Overall, a good stay with attentive staff.

Toilet boil was yellow and disgusting.

The cleanliness was not up too par in the room. I requested a new room. The new room’s balcony was infested with ants.

Hotel should inform guests initially on the websites of parking costs, which are unexpected and very very high. Parking costs for 1 night total a 1/3 to a 1/4 of the hotel stay cost! (even before/after moderate tipping valet) Thats a big deal to consider. Fridge ( wine cooler) in our room was completely inoperable... Gotta keep amenities like a fridge current. Staff was very welcoming, but most of this hotel's viable accommodations are across the street at their "sister" hotel. You have to go there to utilize the benefits.

It was in walking distance from everything that you could need. The beach is very close. The staff was very accommodating. Will stay here again.

Quick check in. Relaxing balcony. Comfy bed. Keurig machine with K-cups with creamers which I did not use. Mini refrigerator and mini microwave. The curtain rod looked bend not functionally the balcony was not dust free on the outdoor chairs. The shower door should be frosted. The counter by the chair area need reinforcing to the wall.

The best hotel

I like the convenience of the property. I liked the balcony and the modern amenities like a Toto toilet and steamer in shower. I didn’t like how the pool was closed, there was no ice machine, housekeeping came early every morning at 9am (while we were sleeping) but never followed back up later in the day. I didn’t like the discoloration of the toilet in my room.
