Lorraine Hotel

The Lorraine Hotel is a bit older, but well-maintained and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is a very short walk to the beach and the hotel has bag chairs, umbrellas, and towels available to borrow. Breakfast was available 8-9:30 each day. It wasn’t a huge selection (waffle maker, cereal, breads for toast, bagels, other assorted bakery items, yogurt, bananas, apples, and juice) plus coffee which was available all day. Our room had a small fridge and a microwave plus a large closet. There were only 3 hangers, but made a trip to Walmart and, along with lunch items & snacks, purchased inexpensive 18 pack of hangers that served our needs. Room was cool and comfortable which was nice since it was hot and humid. Elevator was small, but got the job done and stairs are available for those who prefer getting in extra steps. They do not have on site parking, but you can pay for valet parking at another hotel only 2-3 blocks away. Valets were available 24/7 so no issues getting car as often as needed. We would definitely stay there again!!

The hotel has no outdoor space, and the lobby is very small and extremely crowded, especially during breakfast. There was not enough seating, so some guests had to stand while eating. The staff ignored us and spoke in their own language in front of us instead of acknowledging or assisting us, which felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. The hotel also charged us for early check-in, which we requested and paid for in advance. However, when we arrived, we were told that early check-in was not available. We would have appreciated being notified ahead of time rather than finding out upon arrival. Overall, we felt like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was disappointing, and we would not stay here again.

We liked how cold the lobby was. The rooms were always cleaned. How hard it was to open the door to the balcony.

The beach is about a block away and it is very beautiful. Our room was spacious, light-filled, and it had a small balcony, which was used a lot. We liked the location because it was central and yet in the quieter area of the beach strip. All in all, I would return. The breakfast was modest and the car parking situation was tough.

AMAZING LOCATION! Elevator maintenance expired in 2025.

The rooms are very dated and the tiny elevator is scary to use. The front desk staff are not helpful and you need to complete a self check-in. It is located only a couple minutes from the beach and they will lend you a beach chair and towel. Would not stay again.

Location was great. Easy beach access. Room good size, no bugs. Breakfast same everyday. Check the dates on snacks in room. Very few people spoke English.

I like the overall experience. The beach being so close. Rooms are very neat and gorgeous. Breakfast was yummy. Staff is over the top amazing. The parking was very far away. Elevator seemed a bit creepy. But that's it. Everything else was great.
