Bad experience never going back and it should not be as an option in Expedia Platform .

Unfortunately, this stay was a different story. The employee who checked me in didn't seem to be in the best mood and had a bit of an attitude, but I didn't think much of it. When I entered my room, the bed was unmade, there were random personal items scattered around, wet towels on the chairs, and the bathroom was even worse, the toilet wouldn't flush, and it was obvious the room hadn't been cleaned with used towels, shower not cleaned, and sheets unchanged. I went back to the front desk and asked if I had been given the wrong room because it honestly looked occupied. I was told my original room had a broken A/C, so this was the only room available. My options were to take the room with no A/C (In mid July) or stay in the dirty one, and I was actually encouraged to just use the dirty room. So basically a "Just suck it up" I was exhausted and only staying for two nights, so I accepted it and made the best of it since I wasn't planning on spending much time in my room anyways. On top of everything, the parking is awkward and expensive (You have to pay extra $30/night). I rarely leave negative reviews, but based on this experience, I can't recommend staying here.

It is a very nice hotel. However in July it is very hot and the AC airflow didn’t go through the whole room.

The staff was helpful. Good location,across the street from rental car locations & two blocks from the beach. Multi Restaurants in walking distance. The hotel has great art work all over. This is an older building in Miami so wear & tear is expected: The bed had a broken footframe that squeaked if you moved your toe, Lol. The fire detector was missing. The ceiling fan squeaked if increased the speed. The curtain did not fully close, had a gap in the middle, which is why I pack a binder clip. The tub was old and rusting, did not use, missing towel bar. They had no ironing board and you have to give your ID to the attendant for their only Iron. Older small (2)people only, two door elevator system. They had queen mattress standing in the hallway overnight, lol, the stairs are small I was hoping to see how they would get it out, but no luck. They do have private secured parking adjacent for $30 a night

No tenía aire acondicionado el cuarto no pude dormir, el piso tenía un clavo que me lo enterré en el pies, personas descorteses en la recepción. Por favor no lo reserven para que no pasen una mala experiencia como la mia.

Terrible hotel. Dirty room, no towels, dirty bathroom. I left and went to Best Western around the corner.

It takes the shower quite some time for hot water to arrive. Be patient. The TV doesn't work. There is an ice bucket in the room, but no ice machine on the property. The hotel does not provide shampoo. Only these small round soaps that are about the size of a silver dollar. One positive note is that there is a mini fridge in the room that stays cold.

Room was dirty and hot. We were only given 1 towel for 2 people. Fan didn’t work. Bathroom smelled because of the stained shower curtain. Bathroom door would get stuck which made it hard to get in or out. When checking out the gentleman at the desk didn’t ask what room we were in he just took the key card.

It was 80 degrees in the room and the toilet seat had dirty body residue on it. Was crusted dirt or food in the tufter part of the foot bed chase

First of all there was a resort fee Room 211 - the shower did not work So they shifted me to 311, the shower worked but AC did not work Had a tough time without AC in the hot Miami

Avoid at all costs. Spend extra and go somewhere better. Ignored the reviews and instantly regretted it. Rudest stuff I’ve ever come across. Key cards kept disabling and the lady at the desk shouted “maybe you shouldn’t have it near your phone” I said it’s happened multiple times and she raised her voice and said “no it’s your phone stop putting it by your phone. The first time this happened she said the same thing. Never anyone at the desk. Some members of staff were pleasant. Majority were rude, even when being super polite. Stayed 8 nights and we had to keep going down for toilet paper which they only give you one, no hair dryer, they take your id in order to give you it. Only clean rooms when you go down and request. Room is disgusting, toilet disgusting, wanted a refund when we first came in to check in as the aircon was barely working. The guy at the desk was rude and told Expedia on the phone that the rooms were fine but refused to go up and check. Acted like he was doing us a favor by letting us check a different room on the same floor which was the same. Said we won’t get a refund for sure and told Expedia we need to leave now if we don’t take the room. We asked to see another room on a different floor which wasn’t as hot. All in all, don’t stay here, unwelcoming straight away, rude even when you speak to them with respect. Incompetent and can’t even change a key card without telling you off. 1 roll in a room for 8 nights. 0/5 stars if I could.

The Notebook was nothing like I imagined it to be. When we arrived, we waited for about 5 minutes before the receptionist came down to get us our room. When we finally got to the room, we noticed stains on the sheets. There were no towels in our room, there were dead bugs behind the bed frame, it was hot (no a/c), and there was a grocery bag used for the trash bag. I knew I wouldn’t be comfortable staying there for the night. So, me and my family checked out immediately. I would NOT recommend.

If I could rate this place zero I would gladly do it The manger of the hotel made a commitment that he would refund me, and when booking reached out he didn’t agree to refund, I even have recording of him saying that. Shitty hotel, avoid at all costs!!!! We arrived at 1:00 PM to drop off our luggage, and the man at the front desk didn’t even bother looking up at us. We came back at 11:00 PM to check in and had to wait almost 40 minutes for someone to show up at reception. When a staff member finally arrived, she immediately started making excuses about how they don’t usually do check-ins that late. When I pointed out that Booking.com clearly states that check-in is available 24 hours a day, she reluctantly started the process—which somehow took nearly an hour. And then the real nightmare began. The hotel looks awful from the outside, but unfortunately that’s where the problems start, not where they end. The elevator felt like a scene from a horror movie and only worked about half the time during our stay. The room was absolutely disgusting. There was hair everywhere—on the bathroom floor, stuck to the shower walls, even on the bed. The sheets were yellowish, stained, and smelled terrible. The blinds did absolutely nothing to block the light from outside, the bathroom smelled like mold, and the towels smelled like they had been sitting in a coffin for years. The entire hotel has a creepy, unsettling atmosphere, and throughout our very short stay we were constantly disturbed by loud noises coming from the floor above us. We only stayed because it was already very late at night and we had no realistic alternative. The next morning, we went straight to reception to check out early and request a refund. The front desk employee called the hotel manager, who explicitly told us that as soon as Booking.com sent him an email, he would approve the refund. I was so certain of what he was saying that I even recorded the conversation. But, unsurprisingly, the moment Booking.com actually contacted him, he suddenly changed his mind and refused to approve the refund. This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Dirty, poorly maintained, dishonest, and completely misrepresented online.

I enjoyed the location. The decor is hideous. So much marilyn monore art work for no reason, jim morrison and jimi hendrix.
