Sagamore Hotel South Beach - An All Suite Hotel

Unfortunately, both the hotel and the rooms feel old and outdated. Our room was disappointing, and the window faced directly onto a dirty wall. The sleeping arrangements were also uncomfortable: the room had only one regular bed, while the children had to sleep on a sofa bed that was not comfortable at all. No blankets were provided for the children’s sofa bed. The beach service was disappointing as well. Only two chairs were included, while the umbrella had to be paid for separately. The beach attendants were not particularly helpful, and one of them was quite unpleasant. Despite the excellent location and the efforts of most of the hotel staff, the property did not meet our expectations.

Love this south beach location, beautiful historic art deco hotel. Clean, well maintained pool with great happy hour specials. The beach is a very quick walk from the pool area. The water is clean and beach itself is well maintained. Great location for walking to shops and restaurants.

Our family of four loved our stay at the Sagamore! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We loved having a large balcony and a fridge in the room. We also enjoyed a complimentary textured art workshop. The pool was gorgeous and there were plenty of shaded spots to relax outdoors. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Overall the stay was good. We were given a room on the 6th floor but the elevator to the 6th floor was broken which meant that we had to take a different elevator to the 5th floor, walk down this corridor and then walk up a flight of spooky stairs to get to our room which was awesome but the experience was terrible. And they never fixed the elevator during our stay. The staff is absolutely awesome, the location of the hotel is great, and the amenities are great. But the elevator situation damaged an otherwise could-be-great vacation. Ah well!

This hotel is actually older than the photos. While the private beach is great and pool is wonderful, the rooms themselves need an overhaul! No real restaurant on site and super small bar. I would pass on this going forward. Not bad, just not great.

The room had a little smell to it too. I asked for a 12pm checkout that they couldn't accommodate. So 11am it was. Wife said the room could have been cleaner. She found someone's hair on the bathroom. We had a terrible view of the next building side wall and a dirty alleyway. They had bright lights on all night Its a cute artsy hotel, food and coffee was very good. Nice pool table and pictures on the wall. Gym is outdated but I guess good enough for a quick workout.

We had to switch hotels due to an issue with our previous room A/C. We were able to secure a room at the Sagamore and wish we had stayed there from day 1. Amazing staff, spacious and clean rooms. The pool was great, and direct access to the beach with lounge chair/umbrella was a big plus. Wish we had stayed longer to take advantage of the gym and spa. Staff was extremely polite is every interaction we had. Will absolutely stay here again.

Drug den! We did say the room was unacceptable and were Upgraded To a lovely and clean room. Nothing fancy or beautiful but very comfortable. The place needs work. The quotes From famous artists throughout the property were a nice touch. Not gping back.

Incredible Service and Stay—We Will Absolutely Be Back!Our experience at The Sagamore was absolutely superb, but it would not have been what it was without Melody at the front desk. What started off as a rough beginning to our trip completely turned around because of her. She transformed the entire vacation for my family and me while we were there celebrating my daughter's birthday. Melody was simply amazing. Every single time she was in the lobby, she greeted every guest with a warm smile and a kind hello. Her attention to detail went above and beyond, even ensuring my son's bed was made without us ever having to request it.Jared, who works by the pool, also made our family's time there truly wonderful. His energy is amazing, he was incredibly nice, and the service was fast whenever we ordered drinks.Beyond the spectacular staff, the hotel itself is amazing. The amenities are great, and our room was extremely clean with very comfortable beds. Housekeeping did a phenomenal job keeping everything spotless throughout our stay.We will definitely be back and will absolutely stay at this hotel again. My daughter is still talking about it! A huge thank you to Melody and Jared for their outstanding hospitality and making our stay an excellent one. In addition, the host that check this out her customer service was amazing as well. We informed her that we were headed to Fort Lauderdale to stay at another hotel and she was so kind to find places to eat.

Sure value in south beach

From the moment we arrived, the front desk regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying our stay. A special thank you to Warren, Vito, and Jamal, who went above and beyond to make our time by the pool so enjoyable; they were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and attentive. The hotel was clean, and the rooms were spacious enough that we ended up extending our stay by an extra night. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway!
