Good I don’t like the rooms still
-
The property was nice, very minimalistic and clean. We cut ourselves several times on the carpet in our room. I’m guessing the staples were coming up? There was not much space for us to put our things. Incredibly minimalistic. Shower was also a little confusing.

They refused my booking because I didn't have a physical credit card for deposit, while I already paid, so they were causally saying I could go to an other hotel while I already paid. Only manager Carlos seems to do efforts there. Breakfast was awful. Rooms are clean, small but well designed. A fire alarm rang at 2 am, everybody went down to the lobby floor, for 10 minutes, nobody said anything to us, and after this time one guy with a big smile on his face said we can come back to our rooms. No gesture, no "sorry" , just treated like young kids at school. Overall the staff at the reception is extremely unprofessional , I had to call the police to get back my 5000$ that security agent took from my room to "protect the money", well, so well protected that I noticed than 36hours after the cleaning service and NO ONE, sent me a message, the manager in charge this day (not Carlos the main manager) decided to hide himself when the police got there. I got my 5000$ back but overall awful experience for an over priced hotel.

The area is very pretty and the room was clean, which I appreciated. However, there was an overwhelming smell of bleach that gave me a headache—it was a bit much. I also recommend avoiding rooms near the elevators, as the noise from them went on all night and made it hard to sleep. The food was just okay; for the price, I expected more flavor and overall better quality.

Location and rooms Broken lifts for days while staying at the 12th floor was not my best experience
-
I like the location. The Hotel needs a facelift . It smells old and it is not very clean.

The staff seemed very friendly which is always the easiest thing to implement. A smile and helpfulness costs nothing. Rooms Very tatty and uncomfortable. Very strange interiors. Very hard to relax. Everything was 33% Higher than what it should be. $18 for a bottle of water at the bar.

Small rooms No value for the money Hidden fees

We loved everything. The pool the beach the breakfast the duck the rooms the people.

Not a King Bed! Much smaller mattress (possibly a queen or full size). Hotel said it was largest bed they have in hotel. Deceptive advertising as standard King Bed is 76x80 inches. On the plus side, the shower was best I've ever seen in a hotel.

Friendly staff, location, good vibes
-
We had a delux room and although meant to have a City view we were on 3rd floor had a nice view of an air conditioner or some machinery outside which was noisy 24 hours a day so rendered balcony pointless. No where to hang towels in bathroom which was very small. Room bar very large choice, dressing gowns and other items but some basic hanging facilities would be good.
-
Location and service They only provide bottle water when you check in, after that nothing
-
Excellent location in the heart of Miami Beach. The pool area is very nice. The lobby and restaurants are great. I was given disability room. Shower had no door. The disability bench in the shower was never washed and had mold. Water was changing from hot to cold. The sink did not drain water. The elevator did not work for a day.
-
the front desk staff was helpful, the pool and access to the beach was a plus. the bar by the pool have great cocktails and the room was well decorated lovely. The AC at the lobby was freezing. Our visit was in December the weather was perfect, it is not summer.
-
We were kindly changed rooms however completely hindered our experience and was not 5* or worth the money
-
The location is great for a visit to South Beach The hotel needs a refresh and a clear and transparent policy on the parties. We booked 2 Villas located close to the Hyde Beach club and 2 nights in a row there were parties keeping our children awake. This was not mentioned during the reservation or in any other way.
-
Perfect location. Nice beach Pool did not look well maintained. Hot water was not working proper - hotel was able to accommodate my late checkout with no extra charge as reimbursement

We love SLS

My teen daughter and I were very happy here! We've stayed at the SLS in LA and it didn't disappoint, neither did the SLS in Miami! The hotel is in the perfect location and the beach is practically in the back yard. SLS has food / beverage service on the beach, which was costly but super convenient! We were very happy with the pool as well as our room. We would absolutely return! We had issues with the hot water in our room and a engineer needed to be sent up to fix it. Other than that inconvenience, we were very happy!
