The Fritz Hotel

Hermoso depto super amplio, vista al mar hermosa desde el dormitorio,cocina equipada, ubicación privilegiadad. Lo mejor de todo fue la atención del personal, las de limpieza y la recepción: Manuel ( el uruguayo) excelente, nos ayudó en todo y nos permitió hacer el check in antes, y luego el check out hasta la salida de nuestro vuelo. Lo super recomiendo, ya les pasé el dato a mis amigos y familia cordobesa que les encanta ir a Miami, una joyita .

Air conditioning kept cutting off had to call maintenance. Water leaking.from ceiling.

The hotel was very basic and very clean. There were no issues checking in and I enjoyed being on the first floor directly next to the front desk.- I do wish they had regular cups instead of the cone cups for the drinking fountain, which was springwater- it was right next-door to a restaurant and I guess the prices were fine for being beachfront, but the food was nasty- to me- it was a prime location directly across from the South Beach, Miami Beach sign and I loved that! The hotel had a wonderful rate for a last-minute booking on the day of stay!

The Fritz Hotel at 524 Ocean Drive is one of those rare South Beach stays that actually delivers on the fantasy. You’re not in a giant tower staring at another tower. You’re on Ocean Drive itself, across from Lummus Park and the sand, with the Art Deco district humming right outside the door. Walk out in the morning and the beach is literally across the street. Walk out at night and you’re in the middle of the restaurants, people-watching, and energy that people fly to Miami for. Location this good usually costs twice as much. The rooms and suites are the other surprise. They’re not cramped hotel boxes. Many are apartment-style with real space, kitchenettes, and balconies that look toward the ocean and the palms. After a day on the sand you can actually stretch out, make coffee, and feel like you have a little place of your own instead of just a bed. Front desk and Manuel were quick, warm, and very helpful when we needed something last-minute. That’s not the default in this neighborhood. The rooftop pool and sundeck seal it. Ocean views, a place to reset after walking Ocean Drive, and that classic South Beach light at golden hour. It’s the kind of small, well-placed hotel that feels like a secret even though it’s sitting on one of the most famous streets in Florida. Previously we have visited Miami beach and stayed at Starlite as well as the Beacon, from now on this is where we will stay.

Great location. Good clean room could not ask for more with the value

The Fritz was a wonderful and comfortable stay. Very convenient to all the activities, restaurants and night life if you choose. Nothing, I stay at the Fritz again and I again hands down!

Location, customer service, very clean.

The location is beautiful, the room was very spacious. The hotel is outdated. We couldn’t sleep at all because of the music that was so loud. The hotel is not clean and the only facility are the beach towels.

That it was around everything but didn’t like that it wasn’t clean and no room service It needs to be cleaned and remodel and cleaner sheets and towels,my towels had stains on them and sheets had stains. There was no room service no one ever came to see if we need trash taking or room cleaned or fresh towels.

Nothing No one clean up and for is 0 star So dirty and very old stink so bad

Although I booked my accommodation well in advance and requested the highest floor available they proceeded to put me on the lowest floor they had. Furthermore my friend who also stayed in the hotel in a separate room that book the hotel 3 weeks prior to arriving was given the top floor.

Free upgrade to 5th floor waterfront suite. Was very nice! Staff was excellent and let us check out late as well so we could go to lunch before our plane ride back. Some things didn't work, like the phone and one of the bathroom sink knobs. Also the microwave handle was broken off.

Old, loud, smelly

This is my 2nd time staying in this place and definitely not last time. Very good location, clean and big rooms. Very highly recommended.

Close to everything “south beach!” Easy access to public transportation! I booked a king room and they upgraded us to a suite, which was very nice, but I didn’t like that the suite was handicapped accessible. Certain things about a handicapped room are not always appealing to me. Also, the shower didn’t have much pressure. It was fine, just took longer. No view, we looked at an alley and parking garage. Trash trucks woke us in the morning.

Location was great... right on South Beach but quiet
