The Fritz Hotel

Free upgrade to 5th floor waterfront suite. Was very nice! Staff was excellent and let us check out late as well so we could go to lunch before our plane ride back. Some things didn't work, like the phone and one of the bathroom sink knobs. Also the microwave handle was broken off.

This is my 2nd time staying in this place and definitely not last time. Very good location, clean and big rooms. Very highly recommended.

Close to everything “south beach!” Easy access to public transportation! I booked a king room and they upgraded us to a suite, which was very nice, but I didn’t like that the suite was handicapped accessible. Certain things about a handicapped room are not always appealing to me. Also, the shower didn’t have much pressure. It was fine, just took longer. No view, we looked at an alley and parking garage. Trash trucks woke us in the morning.

The Fritz is a good hotel. It's on the south end of south beach and that can be fun. The restaurant next pumps loud music all day until late at night so good luck sleeping if you're on the first floor. The staff was helpful and the room was large if in need of some maintenance.

Love the location, however the linens and towels were always dirty, I even heard other guests complaining about the stained/dirty linens and towels. I’ve never experienced this in any other hotels in my travels.

The bathroom needs a little renovation

This was my 4th time this year staying at The Fritz hotel ! I absolutely love it ! What makes this place unique and unforgettable is their manager Manuel! He is very knowledgeable and professional and very accommodating to everyone’s needs ! He is the gem of this place ! I have stayed in many different rooms and they all were fantastic. I love the rooftop pool and the view is superb! The restaurant right outside their doors has wonderful food and great drink specials and a wonderful staff also . The location is the best . Walgreens, cvs , liquor store right around the corner ! Check out Big Pink, Starbucks ,Lola’s Mexican (happy hour daily ) towards south pointe . Go other way down ocean drive to Mangoes , palace , and my favorite spot during World Cup Finnegans Irish pub! Check out O cinema on Washington , Twist nightclub , and the brand new Niccabanos for a real cocktail treat in an amazing hidden atmosphere!

The location was right on the main road. The porch off our room was spacious and comfortable. All was good. Maybe a new mattress.

Was an amazing place to stay , highly recommend to anyone looking to relax in a place that feels like home . Very roomy and beyond expectations. Will stay at again very soon

A fantastic spot right at the start of ocean drive. We upgraded to a 2 bed suite overlooking the sea and it was worth every oenny.

Rooms

My stay in the Fritz hotel was excellent . Perfect location , we could literally have everything just around us , supermarkets, pharmacy, close to the airport and an easy gateway for the whole Miami . Staff was very professional and very friendly, would help with any situation. The room was comfortable, spacious and very clean . In the sand road we have plenty options for bars and restaurants, the beach it’s just across the street, If I’m back to Miami I will be staying there again . Thanks again for all employees for the great hospitality, specially the Uruguayan receptionist. My suggestion would be a bar on the swimming pool area .
