AC Hotel by Marriott Miami Dadeland

The pool was closed due to maintenance. And the hotel was filming promos so many areas of the hotel were closed to guests as well. While I understand that things need maintenance, it would have been nice to be notified in advance. Planning to have a pool day in Miami in 90 degree heat and not being able to cool off was brutal and inconsiderate. I also sent an email to the staff regarding this but have not yet heard back, which I find to be unprofessional as well.

The location is ideal - close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. Unfortunately the pool was under maintenance the length of our stay.

The room was clean and pleasant. The staff were acceptable. Breakfast is not included; guests must pay either 21 or 27 per person. Parking is also charged at 20 each night. Overall, it was a nice hotel, though I will not return.

The location was good for our needs but communication was not ideal about Internet being down which as international travelers with online work, was quite a setback. The hotel corridors smelled off as well and carpet was not very clean. A bit disappointing for a Marriot hotel

Very conveniently located next to Dadeland Mall which is amazing! The only thing that would have made it better is if breakfast was included. The buffet was 21 per person. There were quite a few options and it was great but everything was pricy. They add an 18% gratuity and service charge even if you eat in the dining room. It is additional for roomservoce.

The location, the staff verall, our stay was good and we enjoyed it. However, there was one issue that stood out: the smell of the bed sheets wasn’t quite right. They didn’t look dirty, but they didn’t smell fresh either, more like they hadn’t been properly cleaned. This detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay, and it’s the one thing we didn’t like at all.

Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was enjoyable for the kids. The location is perfect and the mall is a few steps away.
