DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Miami Airport & Convention Center

Room was super clean, staff was kind and got us in early for check in, little shopping mall was convenient too attached to the hotel.

The hotel needs updating no microwave in the room. Staff was not all that helpful. Every Doubletree that I’ve been to the signature is cookies and we never even received them or even seen them.

Really nice staff and the room very clean

Good room and very convenient hotel in a good location. I was especially pleased with the very cheap transfer to the cruise port. There is a good well stocked little shop on the complex which was useful.

We had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree! The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and everything made for a great start to our trip. We would definitely stay here again.

Lobby as nice

Hay parqueo de sobra, pero hay que pagar $20 por noche para el precio del Hotel. No me parece que haya que pagar también el parqueo. Aparte pagué por desayuno y eso era una sola cosa que puedes pedir de la carta y nada más en el precio de la habitación. Pagué $30 extra sólo por el desayuno. Me parece que también es excesivo y la habitación no es de un Super Hotel para ese precio, los vestíbulos si estaban muy bonitos, pero nada más el personal sí, me pareció atento.

The pool was a mess. There was an area roped off next to the pool. Not many chairs to sit in.

Staff was welcoming and overall upkeep of the hotel was great

The room was clean and the staff were fine. I didn’t get breakfast because I was in a rush. What really stood out, however, was the hotel’s driver who took me to the airport — exceptionally nice, courteous, and helpful.

This was our second time staying at this property. While the room we were given this time was "updated" it still felt outdated. And then there is the weird way that the bathroom door blocks the toilet. I would also note that because the ice machine was right outside our door, there was a lot of noise from guests getting ice from the ice machine all night.

Muy limpio muy eficiente

ROOM WAS HORRIBLE!! HAD HAIR IN THE TUB & FLOOR. TOLD THE FRONT DESK, HOUSEKEEPING CAME & DID NOTHING! NO HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER. PROPERTY WASN’T LIKE OTHER DOUBLE TREES. LOOKS OLD & ANCIENT LIKE…BEST PART ABOUT THE STAY WAS THE SHUTTLE TO TAKE YOU TO THE AIRPORT.

Prior to my travel I called the hotel asking whether I can send a package to the hotel. The answer was yes. I followed up with email once package was delivered to property alerting of same. I arrived at the property in the morning and as you know 4pm is check in time. I enquired of my package and front staff indicated I will get it upon my return when I check in. Proceeded to mall to kill some time, upon my return no package. Front desk staff (differnt staff than morning)alerting there is no package and it's perhaps with UPS which is on the property but no affiliation with the hotel. They further indicated they have no contact in cases of emergency and I have to wait until they open in morning at 10am by such time I would be in the air (flight left at 10am). I had to reschedule my flight to leave later in the day destined for another jurisdiction as there were no flight for my destination leaving later in the evening . The package was for an important event taking place Tuesday morning. Hotel staff in this regard was not helpful both the first front desk staff and the latter. This spoilt my entire experience. Tip if you sent packages insist that they look for it or check UPS yourself.

Besides the dust from construction the place was not clean or kept up. Our room was dirty and outdated. We were given the old bait and switch. When booking they show a very clean and updated room but left with a dirty outdated room.
