Hyatt Regency Miami

The hotel was in a great spot and our view of the canal was perfect. The restaurant food was delicious and the coffee shop staff were always pleasant. The 4 out of 5 stars has to be for the noise. We were on the top floor and it sounded like there was constant banging 24/7. I appreciate they put sound machines in every room, but it didn't drown it out unfortunately.

Staff is very accomodating, early check in 1pm instead of 4pm, we asked for a river view and they accomodated our request. Great beds, great view!

El hotel está situado convenientemente en downtown con un acceso directo al Metromover, el lobby es grande y tiene lo que se espera de una cadena como Hyatt, el staff es amable, nos compartieron agua todas las veces que pedimos y fueron accesibles cuando necesitamos cambio para un billete de $100 y guardar nuestro equipaje. Hay algunas cosas como alfombras y blackouts que se ven un poco desgastadas pero no es nada grave, posiblemente esté cerca su fecha de cambio. En general me pareció un hotel excelente.

The atmosphere is pleasant; however, when it comes to cleanliness and utility, I experienced several issues. My lamp wasn’t functioning properly, and they didn’t even provide fresh tissues, only used ones that were nearly finished. Additionally, the water wasn’t draining correctly.

Everything was great, staff was amazing. Got to check in early. Breakfast was great.

Room was clean and spacious. Close to port of Miami for our cruise.

Doesn’t appear that maintenance is high on the list of things to do. Everything worked as expected, however, carpets were stained and amenities seemed dated. I was a little disappointed after getting the buffet and wanted to take the plate to my room to finish it, and was abruptly stopped by the waiter, who said that I couldn’t take it with me. He needed to throw it away, what a waste.

Rooms need updating for the price being paid. The furniture had tips and dents, the dresser drawers weren’t closing properly. Valet staff was rude and unorganized, they ignored us the numerous times we tried to get help. Parking was difficult to locate because of no signs. Shower/bathtub wasn’t draining properly either. Walls were extremely thin, we could hear everything in the hallway and neighboring rooms.

The check in process was very fast! They were able to accommodate us the way we wanted. They offered help if we needed and the stuff was amazing. We really had a very good time. Highly recommend.
