Shepley South Beach Hotel

My second time at this location. Quiet. Convenient. You can tell though some things needs to be replaced. But overall, my go-to hotel when in Miami.

The hotel is perfectly situated for the beach and the area for shops and bars within walking distance. Bus stops nearby too. The hotel smells amazing as soon as you get near the front door. It’s has a lovely chilled vibe about it. Loved the hotel and no complaints. If I was to be picky, it lacks storage for longer stays. Probably most will be there a few nights so won’t be an issue but we stayed for 8 nights and struggled to find space for our clothes.

Hotel is clean, staff are excellent, it's in a fantastic position and the room was quiet and well air conditioned. I had a great sleep every night. There is a Walgreens on the corner and lots of good places to eat & drink. If I'm lucky enough to come back to Miami beach, I will stay here again for sure. One thing to note, the breakfast is a small selection of pastries, fruit, ham, cheese, cereal and coffee. It's simple but was fine for me. Definitely recommend staying here.

Beds broken and sagging. The shower is not working properly. Poor breakfast area. Overpriced.

We had a wonderful stay. The room and guest areas are very clean and kept to high standards. The shower was large and water pressure was powerful. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times and breakfast was great. The location was good as it is a short walk away from the beach.

The property was very nice smelled amazing when we walked in and the AC was blasting so so refreshing coming from outside that Miami heat! It was pleasant I loved everything

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Location is great, just one block from the beach and Ocean Drive. Breakfast was fair, had the usual continental staples. While the room and property were clean, the hotel just seems tired and run down. The rooms are in need of a face-lift. Also, our room was extremely small. It was ok for our one night stay, but longer than that may be uncomfortable.

Room was clean and location is perfect. Breakfast can be improved with any options of egg, but still fine.

We landed at midnight and got to the Shepley at 1 am and our room was ready with the baby crib I had requested which I appreciated. The check in was fast since I had prepaid on booking.com. Room was small but beds were comfortable and nice large bathroom. Everything was clean. We enjoyed the free breakfast and the hotel provided us beach chairs and towels to use. Easy walk to the beach for a relaxing day before we got on our cruise ship at 2 pm. I appreciated the Shepley did not charge any resort fees or extras. Front desk staff was available and helpful. I would stay at the Shepley again. Room was small but that’s okay.
