Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Michigan City

Great location Wal-Mart was right across the street. Was able to wash clothes at the hotel before heading out. Thanks.

The non-smoking room smelled like smoke

Mold on shower curtain we had a coffee maker but no pot. People above us were jumping around loudly, I called front desk and they called the people but they didn’t stop. When I called back no one would answer

The room was disgusting. Hair in the shower, mold in several spots, dead bugs in the corners, stains on the bed and all the furniture, several other issues.

Because the desk gave out only 1 roll of toilet paper at a time, people were inconvenienced, and the overworked staff had more work.

Clean rooms

The room was pretty clean. Dusty but clean. However, half the lights in the room did not work and we had to call paramedics after I tripped and fell in the room. I could not see when walking and tripped over the furniture. When I brought the issue up to the people at the front desk, they really did not seem to care that we had to call paramedics to assist me with mobility after I fell because of the rooms not having working lights.

Excelente hotel

Parking. The room smelled the moment you opened the door. The breakfast was solid though.

Pool had hornets , no staff on property to address anything

Our room had stains on couch and stools. Carpet and floors were dirty and sticky. The continental breakfast lacked juices in their machine and I noticed family’s children as well as adults were not offered alternative. Milk was in a refrigerated case and not refilled attentively by morning staff. I would not stay in the hotel or recommend.

It was okay. Dated and did not smell clean. The linens and towels were likely the cause. The room needs a deep clean and reset.

Room was clean but needs maintenance. Most likely just our room, but carpeting was damaged in center of room and bathroom door frame rusting out on lower 2 feet.

I will be back in yhe future!!!

The cleanliness of the room is the major issue. The moment I entered, I found bugs on the bathroom and window curtains. The floor carpet was not cleaned and was moist with dirt. We couldn't keep our bare feet in the room.

Good value for this hotel. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast included scrambled eggs and sausage as well as waffles and cold items. Not too far of I-94 so it was much less expensive to stay in Michigan City than closer to Chicago.

Bed bugs! Will never stay again and the hotel didn't want to give us our money back.

The room was nice. It was clean and for the price, it worked. The pool was functional and clean. The breakfast was right for the price.

Room

I have been a Rewards Member for a long time but this may be the last stay at a Wyndham property. This property is a Total DUMP! I booked a suite and had to be moved to the "better room" ???? The carpets ripped, tile cracked, sinks don't work, water leaks mold everywhere, room smells bad and entire property smells like marijuana. Asked for partial refund and WYNDHAM SAID speak to the owner... No thanks I'm out.. Back to Marriott.....
