Quality Inn Middleburg Heights near Cleveland Airport

Great location, clean rooms, excellent staff

The staff went above and beyond for us. We had a terrible experience at a nearby hotel and Quality Inn really came through for us.

Room was good for a night stay

Upon arriving to the hotel, I was told the king room I reserved was unavailable. Eventually they found us a king room. The room was okay. The mirror above the sink looked like it was going to fall off the wall. And the shower was weird. No shower curtain and when the shower was on the water went everywhere including all around the toilet. We referred to it as a prison shower. It wasn’t a great hotel room by far but it wasn’t the worst hotel I’ve been in.

A lot of rif raft hang around shady

Had to change rooms twice. First room had a busted toilet seat. Second non-smoking room wreaked of cigarette smoke. Overall the rooms needed a very deep cleaning. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, Several things had been spilled on the floors and furniture and not thoroughly cleaned up. The grout and vent in the bathroom needs cleaned. There are no handrails in the bathroom or shower, very unsafe. There was visible dust on the furniture and headboards. I dropped a charging cable behind the night stand and slid it out to retrieve it and there was a disgusting amount of dirt and debris. You need to move all the furniture and clean. The water pressure in the shower was just a dribble but the hot water was adequate. The room smelled of industrial disinfectant. Price was fair and staff was OK, and bedding was clean so rated a 2, but really its a 1. You need to clean but I still won't be back. Lastly there was a car towed from the property very early in the morning right outside my door, very, very annoying.

Nothing special. For the price, it was an outdated hotel.

Dirty room. Heat did not work. Broken furniture. Only local tv channels. No action was taken. when issues were submitted to front desk.

Breakfast could be served earlier

Clean simple and nice place to stay at. Never expensive to stay a night or two there. Never had any problems every time I have stayed there. Breakfast is nice.

Pictures were pretty misleading, price was good so we went with it, but it is a low level motor inn for sure. Rooms exit right to the parking lot. Had to switch rooms at check in as the first room had someone’s empty suitcase leaning up against our door and the room had debris on the floor and comforter. Second room was slightly better but the type of room you don’t really want to inspect the floors and corners too closely. The vibe of the property is that some people live in these rooms for weeks. Woman at front desk was very friendly and accommodating with the room change but realize what you’re getting here.

I got food poisoning from the free breakfast

Our first room has the smoke alarm going off periodically for no reason. They moved us to another room, but we couldn’t get in because it was locked from the inside. So, they gave us a third room and the rented remote control to the TV didn’t work, but the worker couldn’t leave the front desk to bring us new batteries because she was the only one working. She apologized for all the problems and said the manager in the morning could give us a discount for all the trouble. In the morning, there wasn’t a manager on and the worker said he would pass the info onto the owner. I guess we’ll see if they keep their word.

People are living there did not feel safe. Someone tired opening door and never got my $100 deposit back they charged to my card

I did not like anything about this stay, the place had random strangers hanging outside of my room and it smelled of cigarettes I did like the fact that when I tried to reach out to the company to discuss my disliking I could not get a hold of anyone, via email or in person.

my significant other and I were there for four nights and five days and our room never got cleaned, trash didn't get taken out we had to go down and always ask for towels and washcloths went down to the office the next day which was on a Thursday supposedly talked to a manager and told him that we needed the rooms cleaned and clean towels and trash taken out and asked if we were leaving we said yes we'd be gone all day well we came back that evening and nothing was done it was like that the whole time we were there from Wednesday to Sunday when we checked out not very happy very poor way to run a business.

Would be helpful if breakfast could start at 6:00 rather than 7:00. I stay here often for business when traveling by myself. Not sure traveling with a family. When I stay, something always seems to be missing; waste can, and iron or ironing board. Usually there is one but not the other. Restaurants are nearby.
