Can't say enough about Meghan the manager at the front desk ..this hotel is lucky to have her ..the hotel itself could use a good cleaning but Meghan went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable ..would stay here again if needed though the hotel needs major updates

Shower was not working. Breakfast was not good

Room was clean!

Rooms were good and clean, hallways a little rough. Worst part is they checked in someone else into my room after I had already checked in. Found out when my key cards wouldn’t work. Not sure how that happened but they rectified it and gave me a new room.

Poor breakfast: worn off furniture and carpet; uncomfortable beds and pillows.
-
Breakfast - stale pastry not exciting- Only decaf coffee second morning again not exciting
-
Not much Room very tight, Bathroom did not present as clean, also door did not latch closed.
-
Location Use of a strong scent that was pleasant enough but made me wonder what it was covering. Bed was very lumpy

It’s not appropriate to have paying guests and homeless guests sharing same facilities

The walls are paper thin and you can hear the blaringTVs coming from rooms on either side. Maybe just convert this place into a proper shelter for the people with children who really need it. But otherwise, it's not worth the price, which at a $140 a night fee was robbery. If I was forced to say one nice thing, the water pressure was way better than I was expecting. But what's the point in a dingy, rusty, moldy bathroom?

The location is very convenient. I trusted the Wyndham brand, but the hotel was "sketchy" at best. It was a mistake to stay at the Microtel Inn & Suites in Middletown, NY. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. The mattress made a loud creak when I sat on the edge of the bed. The mattress dipped from side to side and top to bottom. I have never slept in a more uncomfortable bed. The bathroom sink was very stained and worn out giving it a very dirty appearance. Two hangers were available in the closet which made hanging dress clothes very inconvenient. Dark dust was very visible between the floor and the heating unit. When I left the hotel to attend my event, the parking lot was filled with police cars and many police officers. When I returned, I had to pass through cigarette smoke from smokers standing at the entrance. Breakfast consisted of not much more than bite sized muffins and "breads", diy waffles, juice and coffee. Overall, the accommodation gave a subsidized emergency housing or shelter vibe. It was neither comfortable nor cozy.

The staff was friendly and assured us they would work with booking.com to give us a refund when we decided not to stay because the condition of the room was not suitable. The couch was filthy and the tv did not work and there was only one bed and we had booked a room with two. The couch was filthy and the tv did not work and there was only one bed and we had booked a room with two. We are frustrated we haven’t received a refund through booking.com and we were forced to find other accommodations that were more expensive which put a damper on what was supposed to be a fun family weekend trip.
