Staybridge Suites Midvale by IHG

Awful hotel, bed felt like plywood, room felt like an oven, the so called AC unit was awfully inadequate, and the location is in the middle of a complete s#!thole ghetto neighborhood. Definitely my all-time worst hotel experience.

It was placed in a great location with multiple food choices,the room was amazing and the staff was wonderful The tv didnt have many channels to choose from.

The pool was closed for maintenance, we were given no advance warning and when we asked for a partial discount we were refused.

The hotel was great. The facility was clean, the room was large and spotless, and it was quiet. It's convenient to get to and has plenty of parking. The pool was closed for maintenance but looks like a great pool. We will definitely stay here again.

Amazingly beautiful

Loved the outdoor space it was clean and perfect for those who love it outside! Staff was super friendly! Enjoyed my stay immensely!

The room and hotel was filthy. The room was very spacious but looked as if it had not been cleaned in a month. There was hair (we all know the kind I speak of) in the shower and on the shower toiletries. Dust everywhere….and unfortunately the staff was not very warm. Many of the staff had family and what I assume were significant others around while they were working. For instance went to the front to get some towels for the pool and was told I had to wait so she could help her brother. We were really excited to stay there as it was outside of our norm hotel and unfortunately all it did was disappoint. Will not be back

Dirty bathroom , we were told daily housekeeping which didn’t happen . The property needs a good cleaning .

I'm surprised this hotel has such high ratings. Our room had obvious water damage to the kitchen (and I have a horrific history with mold illness) so we kindly were moved to another suite. This suite, however, had some questionable oddities: several floor tiles moved/weren't secure, and the toilet rocked. This made me concerned about potential issues in the bathroom. The breakfast was better on day 2 than on day 1. But some of the english muffins had visible mold on them. The variety at breakfast was fun for the kids. The eggs could definitely use improvement. The kids loved making their own waffles. On a positive note, the common areas were nice/updated. The kids enjoyed the pool - despite the copious goose poop on the surrounding cement. Personally, I was bummed that the firepits were non-functional. Quite a letdown considering all the marketing photos on this location spotlight them. Lastly, our suite smelled of wet dog. I understand that this hotel accepts pets (as I saw many) but man, when their presence alters the future enjoyment for future guests, that's not great.

Breakfast and front desk was under standing but she said that someone would be up to talk about housekeeping she did what she could I was very disappointed did the trash wasn’t taken out from the State before us underneath the kitchen sink. It smells bad and we couldn’t figure what the smell was until we started cleaning. Housekeeping came in to clean. They did not clean. Nothing. All they did was make the bed one day. We didn’t even have toilet paper. We had to call and have some brought up. I paid almost $1000. And trash wasn’t even taken out. I had to go to front desk and ask for trash bag to throw the trash out. I brought it up to front desk and they said someone would come up to talk to us. Never heard from anybody.

The furniture in the lobby was dirty/stained. I had to clean the bottom of the iron in the room before I could use it. I anticipated usb plugs in the rooms and there were none. The staff was friendly.

Room was clean and staff was very accommodating. Hotel was pet friendly.
