Hampton Inn & Suites Milwaukee Downtown

Exceptional

Booked a 2 bedroom suite last minute and have usually been happy with Hampton. The room felt like a soviet era apartment. The pullout couch was well used and the bedroom door could not be closed because the bed was in the way. This defeated the purpose of a 2 room suite. Don’t take a room ending in 13 or you’ll see first hand. I will not stay here again.

Didn't get the room I paid for and no price adjustment because I didn't book directly with them. Very disappointing.

Location A bit old.

Solid room. Nothing crazy but a tally good place to stay in downtown Milwaukee.

Convenient location. Large room. Comfortable. Front desk staff was very friendly. Entering from parking ramp was a little weird.

It was a very normal hotel, nothing special. Breakfast was included which was nice. Good overall.

The staff was great, they went out of their way to make sure we had a good visit and always spoke to us as we entered and left. The breakfast was better than normal. The chef puts a lot of work into making great food and he also spoke to us and was very nice and friendly. I will stay here again when I am back in Milwaukee.

Room wasn’t ready when promised. Because I went thru a third party they couldn’t give me any refunds for down grading my room. Couldn’t even give a parking comp because they use a third party

Bfast was adequate- nothing special No tissues were available in my room. The shower did not get hot water- it was Luke warm at best

Was right downtown and close to the train station, so suited my needs for a quick overnight. Staff was friendly. There was a weird, somewhat moldy smell in my room. It's been a humid summer in the midwest and I wonder if it's a result of that. I dunno.

I do enjoy complementary hot breakfast. The room was well used. The clothes rod in the closet was falling off the wall, carpet was not very well vacuumed and the bathroom was, well, poorly stocked on towels.

Rates totally out of line for quality. Air did not work, no shower hot water, (manager spoken to but nothing done), plumbing fixtures loose, no sink drain, splatter on several pictures & lamp shades, refridg frozen, room door difficult to open, carpet had numerous stains, some coffee supplies in room missing, cracked sink, fingerprints/dirt on walls & doors & bathroom outlet, etc. Very, very run down hotel and outdated. Rate was OUTRAGEOUS for lack of quality & I was told at check in that I was getting a great rate. What? I used to look forward to staying here but I will not return. I am a Hilton member and would never recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel. Close proximity to the river walk and other attractions. Parking garage attached to the hotel.

The staff was great and very helpful.

Front office staff was nice, but housekeeping and breakfast staff awful!
