Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Milwaukee Airport by IHG

Nice hotel

-We arrived and checked-in on Sunday 6/21. The room was ready and we unpacked and left to have dinner with our friends. -When we returned later that evening I noticed that the sink drained slowly. -When we used the toilet the next morning it almost overflowed and would not flush. -We informed the desk and was assured that they would have it repaired before we arrived back that night. -We arrived back that evening at 11 PM tired and ready to turn-in for the evening. -The key to the room did not work and required a trip to the front desk. -Upon entry into the room there was an odor which we soon realized that nothing had been repaired and the toilet was still full of now smelly waste. NOTHING was repaired and the the bed was not fixed. -When we went to the front desk for assistance we were first informed that they did not have a repair man on staff. -We then were informed that there was no rooms available. -I asked the desk clerk what he would do and he responded that he would call his manager and handed me her card. (Wendy Soto) wsoto@wiscohotels.com. -It is now 11:30 pm and the clerk said he had some rooms but the A/C did not work. -Since the temperature was in the low 60's I asked to take the room and probably did not need A/C. The property was very clean and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was very good, coffee excellent. However, the room was quite humid and the air conditioner was insufficient, which made sleeping difficult. Also, the plug ins next to the bed were worn out, so the plugs didn't stay in the socket.

The room is very clean. Breakfast is just okay.

Staff was nice and breakfast was good.

Front desk staff were especially helpful and extremely nice.

The young man at the check in counter was very polite, respectful and willing to help. Loved the shuttle to the airport and the driver was so friendly!

Great stay!

Room was clean but had a funny smell. Had some disturbances throughout the night. Unfortunate that the pool doesn’t open until 9am. The room thermostat wasn’t adjustable but stayed okay throughout the night. Staff was very friendly but probably wouldn’t go back.

Comfy beds, clean, felt safe The staff seemed out of it and like they were not listening to me. I also asked about the "free" parking and then was asked to pay again for an added fee. Advertisement is not correct then and that is frustrating.

Hotel is pretty clean. Affordable prices. No complaints

Room was big, clean. Bed was comfortable. Pool area small and too many kids. Great kid pool but no where for adults to swim. Kids all over the hottub. We had kids with us and it was still too much for them.

Pool wasn't good for laps but jacuzzi was great. Breakfast was good, alot of options.

ALL staff was friendly, clean room, nice pool area, great for kids (the kids we saw in the pool were having a blast). Breakfast was good, we were about to eat a good size breakfast and then eat dinner, which allowed us to save some money. GREAT location.

Nice play to stay, clean, good breakfast selections, pool was closed for maintenance. Close to the airport but never heard any jet noise. Close to restaurants and Walmart in you forgot something. Also freeway is close by to drive up to Milwaukee or Brewer game. Had an issue with our electronic key going bad so had to run over to front desk a few times. Overall would stay again. 👍
