The location the cleanliness the staff was amazing. This will be a for sure return for us to this wonderful hotel.

I am very torn on this hotel. Location was 10/10. Perfect spot. The rooms looked nice when we walked in. It's a beautiful building. There were a lot of maintenance issues. The room was really dirty. The ceiling fan was absolutely caked with dust, the curtains broke and there were screws on the floor that my children found, plus a lot of light came in, the top of the fridge was filthy (we are tall and could see it), the bathroom had a lot of mildew in the shower and gross stuff built up in the corners. It just wasn't very clean which made me want to not put anything down. The sofa bed was visibly sagging in the middle. My 5 year old was miserable on it. I tried to sit down on the edge to read her a book and literally couldn't without tipping backwards. The bed and pillows weren't comfy. The hotel itself was nice. The breakfast was decent, the splash pad was cute, the gym looked nice and like I said, location was amazing. It was a little loud from the highway, but that is not the hotel's fault.

Good location for summerfest

Location, room size, amenities, staff. Breakfast is way too simple for the hotel. Below my expectations when comparing to similar or even more simple hotels.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay here. The room was very clean, updated, and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good - your typical hotel free breakfast. The hotel was centrally located, making it easy to walk around the city. The outside noise at night was a bit loud - it is also located near the interstate, so we heard cars most of the night - not terrible though. The parking garage was a bit confusing as it was part of the secure building next door to the hotel. Overall, had a great stay and would definitely recommend to others and stay here again.

Well located clean safe convenient

Our fave place in Milwaukee —we have stayed in all of them in the Third Ward and downtown (except have not stayed at Drury or Trade) and Homewood is by far the BEST. Rooms are so spacious, great shower, kitchen, and great breakfast. Pork carnitas were a nice surprise and delish. The test tapper is cool. Perfect location - walkable to everything. People and place are “Milwaukee’s Best”! Highly recommend to anybody and everybody.

Very friendly Staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Impressed how features of the old building were used in the decor of the motel.

We absolutely loved our stay. The only concern I had was we found some newly developed mold on the right side of the shower floor. I am allergic to mold. Otherwise, it was a great stay. The staff were friendly. I love having a full kitchen. The room was so nice!!

Parking garage impossible to find and we were forced to use valet.

The rooms we had were incredibly noisy. Room 205 is terrible and the next room we moved to 619 was not much better. Street noise and construction was unbearable. Staff was accommodating and moved us but it was not an improvement.

the fact that they do not take care of the front entrance of the hotel, there were E scooters parked all over in front of the entrance and i severely twisted my ankle moving over them to get into the hotel

Room clean was below standard most likely due to a lack of staff / Breakfast was down to a minimum compared to our last stay a few years ago.
