Home2 Suites by Hilton Milwaukee Downtown

This is the second time I have started at this exact location. This is in back to back years. For the second time we had no AC. For the second time we were only offered a box fan. When asked about making this right, I was offered travel points on future stays. The hotel could not make it right, but expedia did. I will not stay here again unless I am guaranteed a room with working AC.

Very nice property and was in a great location for our needs.

Never got below 72.

We booked a 2-queen suite but upon arrival, was given a 1-queen suite. When I called the front desk to ask about it, they said they couldn’t do anything about it because I booked through Hotels.com instead of them. I had my confirmation email and receipt and they said nothing could be done. Two of our guests had to sleep on the floor…which is unacceptable for a room that cost us five hundred dollars.

Great location. Walkable to Riverfront.

I checked in. Was very easy. Went to my room. Got situated and took a shower. No shampoo. Came out in a towel yelled down the hall to housekeeping for them to bring me some shampoo which she did hand to me. Later that night, the room got really hot and I found that the air conditioner didn’t work. So we moved rooms. Great fine. I went from a room that had no air conditioning to a room that had no light in the bathroom at that point. I really didn’t feel like complaining again or changing rooms so I left it alone. Come to the next morning when I almost killed myself because my foot and shoe got caught on what was the equivalent of glue on the floor by the elevator. I went downstairs and mentioned it to them to which they said oh yeah, someone spilled ice cream and didn’t tell us and we’re on our way to clean it up grapevine when I went back up in the elevator, the floor was just sticky. The only positive thing about this is that I didn’t have to pay the $40 a night to park my car because I found a spot on the street. I would never stay at this hotel again because when I checked out, they asked me how the state was and I said it was terrible And that was the end of the conversation he didn’t even care to find out why

The hotel was nice but the problem is at check in we were told it was from 7-10 along with a lot of other people. They started shutting it down at 9. The sign in breakfast area says it’s over at 9 so staff told everyone wrong time. Then there was a homeless guy sleeping and drolling at breakfast which was disgusting. Elevator stopped working during our stay. I know things happen but still aggravating.

Our stay was wonderful! Nice big rooms, clean, and very friendly staff. This is my new go to hotel downtown.

we had no internet the whole time we stayed , the. night manager was rude and basically laughed in our face when we tried to get him to fix our internet. we come to Milwaukee least 1 time a month for business and will never stay at a home2 suite anywhere ever again. he even told Hotels.com. that we were not even a guest at the hotel when we complained to them. this location does not care about its customers at all!!!

Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Close to restaurants. Could not control the A/C in the room. It would come on and blow cold even if I turned it off.

This hotel seems to be in a prime location and right next to the "Public Market" which was a hit and super packed on the weekend. Because of it's location it is rather busy but with all of that everything was really clean and organized. We had a great stay. My only recommendation is that the property invest in more luggage carts. I waited 30 minutes for a luggage cart. My check out was late because by the time I got a luggage cart and loaded the car it was already passed check out time. I started looking for a luggage cart at 9:30 am and had the car finally loaded at 11:10.

But other than that I give it to Jordan for making my stay more comfortable.

Rooms are supposed to be cleaned every other day. I was here gor while week asked multiple times for my room to be cleaned but it didn't happen. One day went and got clean towels from front desk. The staff is awesome. Everyone was wonderful. Breakfast was ok. You have to park down the street in parking garage and add the city app to pay for parking.

Great hotel, everything was clean. The room with an actual fridge was top tier.

It’s a great hotel - good location and great free breakfast. We’ve been here a couple times and we like it a lot. The parking is a little hit or miss as it’s downtown. Rooms are nice and well appointed.

This place so so perfect for out family. It was clean, smelled clean, and our room was very spacious.
