The Westin Milwaukee

The hotel is a little off the beaten path. Staff could have been more knowledgeable with local information. The bar is very nice.

This Westin seems like it has experienced some financial cuts. Plastic flowers to greet you in front, stained chairs in Lobby 1, a non working makeup mirror in my room, poor water pressure in the shower. Some staff were great, but when we were at breakfast they wouldn't allow us to add a chair to our table at breakfast and wouldn't let us have a bigger table. It was getting crowded so I do understand but not allowing us to move a chair was ridiculous as we would not have affected anyone. I will not be staying at a Westin again.

The lamp by the bed had a cracked shade, which have been replaced. The bed I did not sleep in had a very scratched up head board. At over 400 a night I expect better maintenance.

First no microwave in the room. N the mini frig was up so high that my drinks froze!

I’ve stayed at the Western Milwaukee, three of the last four years for the USA TRIATHLON national championships. The location is outstanding for those events and access to the hub of a very clean and safe city. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the staff goes the extra mile to make the stay pleasant and welcoming.

Wow. What a disappointment. Room was not great but bathroom space so poorly designed and towels were like mine I use for dog baths or car washes. Not plush and clean and non even matched. The headboards of beds were damaged and so creepy. Maids left new towels 2 nd day on back lid of toilet not sanitary. Yesterday we left room and returned at 4:00 pm still no service. It’s a miss and a never return for me

Location Way over priced for what was offered….took advantage of the Triathlon being held….sad

Great location and onsite restaurant. Gym is good but would be better with additional amenities such as a sauna or a spa with that available. Housekeeping was poor - the undersheet on the duvet wasn’t even put back/straightened out after the cleaning. Towels felt like they were long overdue for a replacement. The server at the restaurant at breakfast was not the friendliest. I would definitely stay here again and hope these little details are ironed out.
