Motel 6 Minot, ND

No ice machine

4* is generous but it's four stars for what it is. I was there for a night and no, it is not your typical 4 star resort. But for a hotel in the economy category, it was inexpensive, clean, good location, hot tub worked great, bed was comfortable for this category and zero complaints. Staff cordial, parking lot under construction but oh well. I slept there, slept well, hot tub was great and restaurants/shopping within walking distance. Did the job perfectly and made up for the more expensive and probably not any nicer places I am staying in next on this journey. (In touristy areas) Thanks Motel 6 Minot for a good night on the first night of my journey.

We always stay here. Very easy and good location. Not very accessible when you’re coming in late at night with luggage. But we manage and we always come back.

Thought this was a new Motel 6, but only under new ownership, I guess. Not sure, but it was a bit run down. No security on outside doors and some shady characters were hanging around the entryway we used. Lighting in parking lot wasn't great. Good looking indoor pool. Signs indicating a breakfast room hadn't been removed and no breakfast was provided. I understand this keeps the prices down which I appreciate. Treats were given to me at front desk for our dog and NO CHARGE for dog, a very rare occurrence when many "dog-friendly" hotels charge high fees. Adequate for a good night's sleep after a hard day of travel, but not luxurious by any stretch.

It was simple, but good location and good value for the money. Yes, the air conditioner can be loud, but it does keep the room cool.

The room was dirty with a funky odour. The carpet was dirty. The furniture hasn’t been moved and the room properly cleaned in who knows how long. I would not use the tub/shower. Would not stay again.

For the price, this place was great. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot and powerful enough, lots of clean towels and 4 pillows per queen bed. I would stay again for sure. If the price was double, I would be a bit harsher, but it was a great deal. If you want the best in town, pay double the price

Clean and friendly staff, easy check in. Nothing to complain about for our one night stay.

Enjoyed the pool and hot tib

First room had pee on the toilet seat. Got switched to another room and it was caked in urine and the shower had hair and other things in it. The room and the halls smelled like sweaty cat pee. I got my own cleaning supplies and cleaned the room myself. There was no do not disturb sign, we went out for the day and came back to the shower curtain having been changed but not cleaned. It was bizarre. Front desk staff was pleasant enough, but will not be staying here again. Not sure how it has such high reviews.

Toilet seat was broken, a/c clicked on and off 24/7, couldn't figure out how to watch normal cable on TV and hallway, elevator carpets very dirty

The parking lot needs some major repairs. The tub drain in the room was clogged with tons of hair that you could see.

The room was clean and bed exceptionally comfortable. The outside premises were littered with trash, dumpsters overflowing with random bikes and pallets on the ground. The staff was so sweet and kind.

Overall the stay was great. Staff was fantastic and accommodating. The bathroom definitely could use some TLC in the room. Also an exhaust fan. When you shower it gets so so humid.

Staff was super nice and helpful.

The other side burned out

MY DAUGHTER WAS CARRYING HER LUGGAGE TO THE TRUCK AND SHE STEPPED IN THE HOLE IN THE PARKING LOT SHE FELL AND TORE HER KNEES AND ELBOW UP REALLY BAD.... THEY SERIOUSLY NEED TO FIX THEIR PARKING LOT.

Room was clean. No ventilation in bathroom lead to what looked like a mold forming on the ceiling. Otherwise it was a great two night stay during the fair. Convenient to shopping & food.

Very basic hotel but decent for the price compared to other hotels in the area.
