Great stay will return sometime

We had a fantastic stay at Rebel! It has a relaxed atmosphere and all the staff seem happy which is nice to see. The gentleman at the front desk/ running the bar was very welcoming and always available if you needed help. I could go on about the positives— great pool area, great breakfast, comfortable beds.. etc! Downsides are the rooms are not a consistent temperature through the night, either too hot or too cold. It’d be nice to have an AC that can maintain a temperature. A fan in the bathroom is also a consideration, In the same vain, recycling in the breakfast area and more obvious recycling in the rooms would be nice. It’s clear these are all little things, as it was such a nice place even in the midst of construction throughout the hotel interior! Will definitely come back when given the chance, thank you!

I feel this hotel has gone downhill. Stayed in it years ago and now its just okay. Outside appearance showed they just don't care weeds everywhere. Just okay inside. Very dissappointing.

The garden tub in the suite. My door to the pool area was broken and didn't open. There was mold in the hallway leading to the room and the suite numbers were written on the door knob card readers to say the least.

The bed was very comfy

I think the staff are great here. This is the second time we have stayed in the suites just off the pool. We love being able to swim in the evenings. There is nothing that I didn't like. They are doing some remodeling right now. So the hallways were a little bit disheveled. The workers doing the remodeling were very considerate. I'm sure when they are done the place will look great.

Walking distance to the mall & restaurants. They are still working on a remodel but it’s probably 1 of the better remodels I’ve seen. The whole place has this very unique vibe to it . Like the staff & how the hotel is ran & decorated is very welcoming. Breakfast is also well done. I don’t know who actually owns this hotel but I’ve worked for others in town & whoever owns this must actually care for both property & employees. Don’t stay anywhere else but here!

Not what I was expecting! This hotel used to be kind of a dive but has definitely improved. The room was clean , the bed was very comfortable along with the pillows. We were traveling with our pet so we were given an outside door access from the room. Most pet friendly rooms are not as nice but this one was great. And also can’t say enough about the breakfast. Something for everyone! Will be coming back for sure!

The walls are paper thin and could hear my neighbours snoring or walking around the room (artwork on the walls shoot when people walked around the room). The hallways had some debris like someone ran into the wall or something and the staff was vaping in the rooms while cleaning. Pool was good for kids, it was dated and needs some TLC. But overall it was good for kids (deep end around 4ft deep) I enjoyed the live band on Sunday and the atmosphere at the hotel was relaxing.

The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was great! They had a great variety of items on the breakfast and great coffee. The hallways and stairs needed to be vacuumed and cleaned. The pool area was nice but definitely needs an update. The room was comfortable but the floor was sticky. It needed to be washed since our socks turned black. I would choose an alternate spot next time.

Broken glass on side entry. Door handle missing hardware. Shower faucet leaks bad, shower head leaked. Hot tub grout was black. Cleaning staff played loud music while cleaning.

Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast of scrambled eggs and sausage with fresh fruit was good.

Will definitely be recommending to friends!

Decor was unique and room colours were clear and pleasant; breakfast was delicious ( especially the yogurt), staff quite courteous and welcoming.

They did not have a room available and others we talked to checking in did not have a room available at 10pm the day of check in They did not have a room available to us
