Comfort Inn Missoula near University

I stayed here as part of Missoula Marathon race weekend. The hotel was definitely aware of the race as they increased their prices by 300+% for the weekend. What was most frustrating about this is is that they would not offer late check out. So, while the hotel took advantage of the increase of people staying at the hotel for the race, they did not accommodate racers by offering even an hour late check out which would have been very helpful to all. Other than that, the furniture in the lobby and (my) room was extremely worn out looking-could use a refresh or replacement. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating when they could be and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was fine-as was the 'free' breakfast. It would have been nice to have the breakfast available on race morning--but it did not open early enough for those going to the race-which, in my experience, other hotels will do on race weekends.

Good location

The staff were very friendly and helpful! There was a nice breakfast buffet and coffee. There was an area to walk the dogs and bags for clean up.

Great location overlooking a river. It was incredible to sit outside in the evening. Amenities were great and property was clean. Safe location.

The rooms need to be updated. Bed was comfortable.

They served a really nice breakfast, ease of parking and very comfortable bed.

Room very clean with a beautiful view of the river. My husband really enjoyed using the bike to tour around Missoula.

Hotel is conveniently located to downtown (we walked) and the airport. The woman at the front desk was fabulous. The "only" issue was the noisy trains which were very loud. I wouldn't stay here again based on the train noise.

Very much appreciated the late checkout. We arrived at 2:00 a.m. to check-in, so we really need the sleep. T hank you!

Stayed here for the Missoula Half Marathon. Solid basic hotel. Staff and service was better than any luxury hotel though! They made sure there was a shuttle to pick me up past midnight from the airport and brought my grocery delivery up to my room. Close proximity to coffee shop, grocery store, and some quick service restaurants. I’d stay here again.

Really good pretty good food

Nice room, comfy bed. Housekeeping seemed to have left before quite finishing e.g. didn't refill bottles and tissues. Blind over window inadequate to keep out light. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly and helpful.
