Cheap and always affordable Room update severely needed rooms look like they're from 2005

I did not stay due to seeing roaches in the lobby. Asked the lady if they had roaches she told me no, I asked her then what is that all along the window. Multiple dead roaches. I told her I wanted to cancel, contacted booking.com and they reached out. The location denied a refund even though I did not stay there and booking.con will do nothing even through I told them the pictures look nothing like what they had posted Roaches. Filth. Most ghetto place I’ve ever seen.

I would have like a clothes rod for hanging my shirts.

There wasn't breakfast provided for us Bugs flying in the sink and the water pressure was very low to take a shower and normal use

My truck was not broken into overnight during my stay, even though I did have some worries, and the bed was kind of comfortable I went to Mobile on May 15 - 17, 2026 for my niece's graduation. I was running late for the graduation when I arrived there, so I didn't have time to look for another hotel; however, I would have if I had the time. The hotel was old and in desperate need of renovation, especially in the rooms. The desk was broken, and the towels looked clean, but they were small and of thin material. There was only one wooden bottom chair at the desk, and it was uncomfortable to sit on while using my computer. There was nowhere to hang my flight bag and clothes except on the bathroom door, and there was no shampoo or conditioner available in the shower. I'm sorry that I have grown to expect those things in a hotel. If there was a lobby, you couldn't go in because the front door stays locked and you had to check in through a service window from outside. They don't advertise a pool anymore because it's broken and they told me that it was closed. After spending the first night in this hotel, I decided to just bear with it one more night since I'd be leaving on Sunday morning, and I'd make sure to leave a very lengthy review. My advice to anyone who likes nice accommodations is to look anywhere else but this Family Inn of America at 900 I-65 Service Road in Mobile. You will be much happier.

Nothing Every thing

Literally nothing, we didn't even get to stay The building already doesn't look anything like the actual location or the pictures, and they gave away the room I reserved so we had to find another location instead of what had been planned.

I didn't like anything cuz I couldn't stay at the property The fact that I booked a room for a handicapped person and when I got there they didn't have any downstairs rooms they wanted me to climb the stairs and the lady at the front desk was extremely rude not to mention she tried to charge my card four times before I even got there

Big rooms pretty quiet Could have more comfortable bedding and coffee!!!

Everything Nothing

Nothing. It was not safe. I’ve traveled over 60 countries, many third world countries. I’ve never had a worse experience! Unsafe and very noisy (from people and highway) outside. Bathtub also unsafe. Filthy room, stains on the walls, sheets and furniture, cigarette burns on the sheets. TV and refrigerator didn’t work properly. No coffee pot. Sticky residue covering every surface. Several people selling and doing drugs openly. Someone tried to enter our room after midnight three different times so I did not sleep at all. There is no one to help at night if there’s an issue. This is by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I’ve stayed at countless hotels throughout the US and numerous countries. I’ve never left one bad review ever, but this place warrants a cautionary warning!

They charged twice in my debit car and now they doesn’t answer my chat

The staff tried to scam me on 20 dollars when giving the change to my cash payment. When I noticed this they did not bother to apologize. I got asked if a smoking room would be fine for me, to which I replied that absolutely not, since my reservation clearly stated it should be a non-smoking room. They allegedly gave me a non-smoking one, but in there I found an ashtray. In the end they changed it to another one with no ashtray in the room, but it definitely smelled like a smoking one too.

Nothing They canceled my booking when I arrived to the hotel

Price is good, location is good too. The staff is good, I accidentally booked a room with one bed, but the staff helped me get a room with two beds and made it for the same price. The beds squeak. I was also surprised that if you are under 21, you can't rent a room here
