Suburban Studios Monaca - Pittsburgh

We've stayed here many times and have noticed the hotel is starting to show wear and tear from the transient workers. Having grown up in the area, we refuse to pay a lot of money to stay in Monaca/Center Township, PA. We pulled in and two huge men (workers) were hanging out in the main entrance. Then, only one of our two keys worked despite three tips back and forth to try and fix it (battery needed changed). Then, there was only one tiny soap for two adults, staying two nights. Also, there were only two charging ports in the room which eventually died, too. I asked for a second alarm clock with charging ports but it didn't work (perhaps it needed set up?). Again, this is a bare bones, no extras hotel. I was highly disappointed because previously we've had no major issues like this time. This hotel is basically just a roof over your head and bed to sleep in. Speaking of beds, don't make a mess because they never made our beds, either.

Great place to stay! The room was large and extremely clean. The location so close to the highway made getting to work easy. The full size fridge was a bonus. The staff was helpful and very friendly. Hats off to Kevin for how quickly he solved my broken desk chair problem. I will absolutely recommend Suburban Studios!

Clean room, House keeping brought plenty of towels and asked if I needed anything else. The front desk was friendly and helpful.

The room and kitchenette were perfect. The beds were comfortable and the pillows The right consistency. The staff that I dealt was amazing. Nigel checked me in and assisted with the very minute issues that arose swiftly and with a smile and kind words. His work was top tier. Josh checked me out and he was also a very pleasant and well mannered person. Due to these to people my family has decided that any time we visit the area again. This will be our hotel of choice.

Very clean, super friendly staff and affordable.

Most parts of the facility were recently renovated - it is tidy and clean. The bed- it is too soft.

There wasnt any additional toilet paper & the roll on the holder was almost gone. The room next to us had a buzzing sound all night long. The pillows are hard as a rock.

Room was clean, but the hallway was all tore up. Had to bring us 2 tv until they got one to work. The lady that got a tv working for us was very kind and did not give up until she got one that worked for us.

Switched rooms 3x because the first one had hair EVERYWHERE like all over the tub and then IN the sheets and pillows like they just folded it nicely, then the second room had yellow and brown stains all over the white comforter, NASTY I wanted half off for the night so I’d leave the next day they offered me another room that sufficed but same price. Staff was nice about it but supposedly they said they’d give me a full refund but I have yet to see any of that I’ve contacted Expedia too bruh

I was very happy with the stay!

It was a suite provided with a kitchen fully equipped. It could definitely use more sound-proofing. I could hear everyone clearly in the hallway, moving in the room above me, and sounds from outside more than I would have cared to hear.

Everything was clean and the room was furnished nicely.

Staff are friendly. A very small smell in the room but overall it's good
