Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa

Staff and breakfast were top notch. Our hotel room was conveniently located close to the clubhouse, breakfast area, bar, courtyard with a variety of child friendly games, and pool. My only complaint was that we specifically booked this hotel because it had a pickleball facility and we discovered upon arrival that it was closed for maintenance.

I really wanted to get the experience we deserved. I called ahead of time stating we were gonna be in a little late between 830 and 9:30 PM. We were getting off work and we had 3 1/2 our drive. We get there 930 checked in. We booked a balcony room and I stated I would love it if it was in a quiet area because I’m a light sleeper. They gave us a patio room on the first floor. We were exhausted so we stayed the first night in the first room. Next morning, I ask if they can move us to the correct room that we paid for and the lady was giving us excuses. Stating that they never got the note that we were going to be late because I called some corporate number instead of them.(which I called the number listed on the Monterey Hyatt website.) so I asked if they could please just move us to the room we paid for because the room were in was too noisy. They stated they would but we needed to move our stuff out of the room we were currently staying in with no other room to go to because they wanted to flip our room without having any other place for us to go and didn’t know when they would have our room ready. The only thing she comped was two days out of the three for the resort fee and a free coffee for the inconvenience. Just one. Then I asked if there were shuttles down to the aquarium since they have them for the airport and I was told no. What kind of resort doesn’t have a shuttle to an attraction?And the room they put us in, was noisy. I’m really disappointed in this stay

This is a beautiful , comfortable and clean place to stay. The staff are so nice and friendly. I have a great time at the hotel .

We stayed here for a quick one night and they were so accommodating. We got in around 10am and asked for an early check in so our toddler could nap. We were greeted with hospitality and they said to come around 12-1 and they would see what they could do. They found a room for us and it was great! Quiet and off the golf course, perfect location. Will forever recommend!

It’s a beautiful place and at very convenient position. The staff is super nice and the bar is also great.

Nice facility that was clean and quiet. The restraunt was nice and the food we got was really good. There is an area outside that has several gas supplied fire pits, which was a great place to hang out. We didn't use the pool or exercise area, because we were there to take in the beauty of Cali. I'd stay here again.

It has a restaurant and a bar and nice seated area outside. We had our dog with us; it’s dog friendly except in the restaurant. The room is clean and big and the location is not bad, less than 10-minute drive from the downtown. The self parking fee for our car was 25 per day, which is not bad for the area.
