Travelodge by Wyndham Monterey Bay

We were in a one bedroom. The bedroom had no AC and was extremely cramped. Advertized as 3 queen beds but at the least the one in the bedroom is definitely a double. The room was not in the main hotel but in a sketchy outdoor motel style building next door. We arrived at 10pm and left at 8am so all I can comment on is that room seemed clean but was very old. The bathroom was probably last renovated in the 70s. Also loud planes flying overhead even quite late at night. I don’t recommend staying here if you can afford something better.

Clean Room, Comfy Bed, Nice Shower, Helpful Staff, a very convenient to everything for Car Week. There is some noise from the airport, but not a problem if you're a sound sleeper!

You need to inform the front desk the day before to clean your room otherwise they don’t pick up your garbage or give you clean towels. Breakfast included: coffee in the lobby, apples and a small granola bar. Definitely not worth the money.

The beds were comfortable, but all the furniture was really old. There were rust stains underneath the sink. The sliding door track was not clean and sometimes hard to slide the door. There was free coffee in the lobby, but no fresh half-and-half, just powdered packets. The staff did not greet us when we came into the lobby for coffee. All right fisherman’s wharf was close and the aquarium was about 15 minutes away.

We put in the gps for this place traveling from the bay of course mom needed to pee so we stop at the hotel the lady at the desk was super kind let mom use staff restroom we were so early I asked if it was possible for early check in she said let me see if anything is ready and available and we got lucky, one was. So we were able to drop our belongings off in our room and start are adventure. We definitely would stay here again nice, neat and friendly staff.

It is old but clean hotel, location is prefect. But it is very overpriced for Monterey Car Week period. You should expect paying $1000 per night for $100 hotel. Just be ready for that.

The room was large and had a new bed which was very comfortable. The room was dated but clean. There was also a nice little coffee shop next to the office. Great food and service.

The staff were awesome and helpful. The atmosphere was fun. Loved it. But the refrigerator did not keep anything cold, and the shower felt like a dungeon.

Needs a lick of paint that is for sure. Good size and clean pool. Comfortable bed. TV was disconnecting so had to go the receptionist few times asking for help. Safe in the cupboard was broken and looked very old. One more thing, the hotel is right next to the airport, planes landing frequently and it’s very loud.

I liked the pool, and the room was clean. The equipment in the fitness room was a little run down.

Clean room but extremely simply breakfast. Granola bars and whole fruit.

They only have cardio machines.

Room looked to be clean, however the the drawers in the dresser had chips and hair. Showerhead leaking water all over the place in outdated.

Overall stay was ok. No breakfast included. Facility coyld use some minor/cosmetic repairs.

Okay standard queen beds in standard room - parts outdated/rusting. Dirty floors.

The room and property was clean and the staff was courteous and helpful. The only thing is when they brought towels they forgot wash clothes. Also, I wish the property had a jacuzzi. Otherwise, we had a comfortable stay.

Pros: The beds were comfortable and the room had good air conditioning. The room seemed very clean. The pool looked nice. Cons: the stairways and walkways weren’t very clean. The neighborhood near the hotel can be noisy. The bathroom was itty bitty teeny tiny. The line to get checked in was long/long wait with only one person working the front desk.

The bed undercarriage was raggedy which made the overall appearance disappointing. There was two smudges on the wall near my bed. The room entrance door looks like a prison door. The air condition worked, but a part of it was separated-like loose. All in all the room was tacky and outdated. I drove 6 hours and for a woman to be told there was no restroom at your front reception area was beyond terrible. I won't stay here again. I had reserved another date but cancelled it.

Very dirty hotel, body was and towels were not available or in the room. No housekeeping on duty, no elevator for my older parents access it was a horrible experience!
