Exceptional

The room was nice and cozy, and me and my boyfriend enjoyed the room quite a bit! The curtains didn't wanna close the best, but otherwise, no complaints!

I booked for next year already

Location relative to the Fairgrounds was great, and key for us. Room was neat and clean, however floor had some sand (I know, sand is hard to get rid of). Parking provided easy access to the room. In room noise was minimal and quite nice. Nice size frig with a freezer compartment. Nice low table for laying out 2 suitcases. Clean and comfortable bed. No/little hot water to the small sink. Floor in bathroom was slightly uneven so that door was difficult to open and shut. Tea bags were not individually wrapped, so of questionable cleanliness and did not use (would have if the bags were individually sealed). Sandy floor. Could have used another pillow or two, especially since these were small pillows. Only electrical outlets were by the tv and sink. Lots of outdoor lights on at night, so there was quite a bit of light leaking into the room (could use better window coverings to block out the light). The noise from planes taking off/landing at the airport is really loud, but thankfully don’t fly over during the night.

I like the location of the motel which was pretty close to downtown Monterey and most of the attractions. I did not like how poorly the climate control unit worked. It had gotten a little cold in my room couldn't seem to warm it up enough.

Fresh and brightly presented cosy room. Great value for its proximity to Monterey/surrounds beautiful sights. You expect the closeness to neighbours in a property of this vintage, fortunately they were all like minded respectful travellers so no issues arose.

The water in the shower was good, very centrally located, easy to check in, room service was great, the size of the room was great. The bed had sand on top when we checked in, the floors were dirty we had to wear sandals or shoes or else our feet would be dirty. The AC also didn’t cool it just was essentially a fan.

It was small and convenient. It had everything we needed inside the room. It's not that I did not like it, but it can use an irony board. An iron upgrade
