Monterey Bay Lodge

Love the place to stay for couple days, they have amazing pool with jacuzzi. Beautiful seating area.

Great place, will definitely stay there again.

It was great to see availability for Monterey Car Week at the last minute. The location was really convenient for the walk into town. Good parking. Clean, comfortable room. Lovely gift box of food and snacks provided on arrival in the room (which was a nice surprise). All the hotels in the area are expensive for that week, which is nothing specific to this one. The demand is high, so they can all basically charge what they want.

Great proximity to tourist attractions. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms small, older and basic. Some rooms face a busy street with sound and lights coming through a bit at night during peak activity. No A/C.

Never informed about no A/C. Shower was tiny, water only got to Luke warm in the shower and the sink. Not informed our room faced the construction that woke us each morning with Jack hammer & heavy equipment noise at 7:30 am. The TV was almost useless and the phone did not work! Worse place I ever stayed @ for last 60 years even with price of over $400 per night. Insult to injury scenario.

Hot tub was hot one night , next night temp was low . Pool heated nice . Court yard needed to be maintained better of leaves n flower buds all over n seating was covered with tree debris. Parking was good .

Room was clean, quiet. Things seemed new, well kept. The amenities were commensurate to what you pay. Staff was helpful. Near the bay, about one half mile from Monterey Fisherman's Wharf. If you don't mind walking, not a bad location. Like a lot of motels, you have to ask for extra towels, etc., but they happily obliged.

room for the two of us. Walking distance to the wharf. cool weather since Madera, California was hot. Will stay again.

Not a lot of frills and wi fi was spotty. Cute property with great accessibility to the beach walking path.

Exceptional garden. Great location away from crowds. Our 2nd stay. Will come again. Pillows were too soft, not substantial enough.

Great location, not too far drive from downtown eateries and a beautiful view of the lake and bay.

This was our 1st time staying here and it was amazing we loved it and we will definitely be staying on our next visit to Monterey
