Clean, helpful and well maintained property.

It’s a nice location, close to Fisherman’s Wharf, beach, great walking and biking passes 5 minutes from hotel. Clean, quiet rooms.

Enjoyed our stay. The room was cute and clean. Parking can be difficult. Not a lot of spaces. Room was good size. Beds were comfy. Close to the beach and fisherman wharf. We’d stay again.

Our stay at the Stage Coach Lodge was very comfortable. The room was clean. The bathroom was spotless, the bed was really comfortable and the linens were fresh, clean, and cozy. The hotel was very quiet, we didn't hear any noise and it was completely full the whole time we stayed there. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The only improvement I would suggest is to have extra toothbrushes, etc. for guests just in case. We forget a toothbrush and while the staff tried to find one for us, they didn't have any so we had to drive rather far to get one. I would recommend this hotel if you're looking for an affordable, cozy, restful place in Monterey.

The room was clean, up to date with everything we needed. The staff was friendly, responsive, and professional. Couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommend to all!

The room had an unpleasant odor, and the smell became even worse when the air conditioner was on. One of the main lights was also not working. Overall, the stay was quite disappointing.

The property was small but convenient to stay for few days. The staff are friendly and answered my questions. The room was clean and they have shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion too. Which is really nice! They even have keurig for coffee! They also clean our room without us asking for it. The only thing was we can hear people from outside and upstairs. Overall it was really good place to stay in. Will stay here when I visit Carmel again. Everything was so close here!

This place is old, dated and small. Clean but smelled a little because of its age and use. We had prepaid for the one night stay but they insisted on charging our card a $150 deposit! I asked why. Just to make sure we didn’t trash our room. We are an elderly couple. We are not about to trash their room. They said don’t worry, “most people get back their deposit.” Haven’t checked my card yet but they better have returned the deposit. That’s what you get when you stay at small, local and unprofessional places.

Always a nice stay. The rooms are each a little different. Overall it’s a breath of fresh air if you’re sick of the same ole hotel motel holiday inn.

My daughter goes to CSUMB and this is the 2nd time staying here.. we’ve been in Monterey a lot and this is the only hotel (out of a lot) that I LOVE. This will be our hotel when i visit my daughter, and move her in every year.
