Monterey Beach Hotel, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Beautiful ocean views, loved sitting by the fire pits and the complimentary s'more packet was a nice surprise. The restaurant on site was really good and worked for our group with meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans. We will return!

Would come back to this amazing place

The location was amazing. Our rooms were just steps down to the beach. You could enjoy a glass of wine and make s'mores at the firepits overlooking the ocean. Just a few minutes drive to Cannery Row. My new favorite hotel in Monterey! The pillows. The bed and bedding were fine, but the pillows were flat and hard. I recommend bringing your own from home.

Everything was great! Check-in was quick. Staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was fresh and yummy. Our room was clean daily with plenty of towels! Being a Bonvoy member had great perks, loved the sauna and smores kit for the nightly bonfire and let’s not leave out the spectacular views! 10/10 highly recommend ❤️

We have stayed here several times. The ocean view rooms are spectacular. The restaurant is also first rate with a great view, too. A stay here has gone quite pricey over the years, especially when they have added parking and a resort fee. I would say, it is still worth it. A great place to stay just before you get into Monterey.

U can’t beat the location. The hotel is clean and fairly updated . The staff is very nice. And the amores at night are the best.

Location was good. The room was very small. Minimalist. Room lacked storage, no place to hang a towel near the sink. Used towels on a countertop is gross. Could barely open the door to the tiniest toilet and shower area without banging in to it. Dangerous and slippery tub shower combo with no mat or grab bar. The whole room seemed lacking simple amenities for the price. $50.00 a night to park plus tax came to $227.00. Outrageous!

The rooms are poorly planned. Can get noisy.. The bathroom is tiny and extremely inconvinient. Dinner options were not greaat and parking is way too expensive

Perfect location and beautiful views. Staff wonderful. Only downside when you add the travel tax it brought the room to $600. for one night. A little spendy for 4:00 ck in and 11:00 am ck out. Not enough time to enjoy all the amenities

We loved our ocean view room. Made our anniversary memorable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it.
