Hotel Morgan a Wyndham Hotel

This place is gorgeous, the people who work there are friendly and kind from the cleaning person to the valets to the bartender, to the concierges. The bedding is comfortable, everything is spotlessly clean, and I loved every minute of my stay!

Staff was absolutely amazing

Beautiful historical hotel with a very kind and helpful staff. Walking distance from restaurants and shopping. You have to go to the Taco Spot...AMAZING!

Great old hotel

Its downtown location is excellent, offering easy access to restaurants, shopping malls, and other attractions. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. Breakfast is continental and must be pre-ordered. We chose not to have it, as the cost of approximately $30–$50 per person seemed quite expensive. The hotel also does not offer self-parking, so valet service is the only parking option. As a historic hotel, it has plenty of charm and character while still providing modern comforts. While the overall stay is on the pricey side, we had a wonderful experience. It is an excellent choice for couples, families with children, and business travelers looking to stay in the heart of downtown.

Wonderful stay, will stay again

It was a great stay at the Hotel Morgan. The room was clean and comfortable with public parking nearby which costs about $18 per day. The hotel is on High St. in the center of Morgantown. Helpful staff.

Love this hotel! It’s so cute! And the the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, staff is friendly, and it’s in a nice place downtown.

Very nice place to stay.

It’s a super cute stay but there’s no easy parking unless you pay for valet.

Overall the hotel was clean and updated. However, our room could have used more attention prior to arrival.

Great location, many restaurants and local shops within walking distance

The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and definitely would book again.

Had an amazing stay at Hotel Morgan. They recently became dog friendly so my parents could join us there. Everything was clean/modern but still had the historic feel. The staff were all friendly & would definitely stay there again! The shower pressure & head was probably the best in all of our hotel stays.

Excellent restaurant and bar. The room made for a very comfortable stay.

When I arrived and when I departed, the valet employees did not offer to help with luggage. There were ants all over the floor under my table in the bar. The scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast tasted terrible. You also will want your maintenance staff to work on room 509. The freezer in the mini fridge is almost frozen over. The air conditioner filter was so covered in dirt and dust that I don’t see how there’s any airflow which might explain why it was so loud and rattling every time it kicked on. It woke me up every 3-5 minutes so I got NO sleep. The sheets were ripped. The only thing that was decent was the espresso martini at the bar but it cost $36 for 2.

Parking situation isn’t the best… you either valet ($20) or use the city lot across the street which you also have to pay (75 cents for a max of 12 hours at a time) which isn’t super convenient and Sundays are definitely not free despite what the staff may say…. I received a parking ticket at 2:15 Sunday morning because my time ran out at midnight….

Lovely place, convenient to all things Morgantown. Will definitely stay again.
