Hotel Morgan a Wyndham Hotel

the hallways smelled like they had a sewer problem. the room was fine. i didn't like the booking on line aspect. It made me feel like my booking might not work because they pushed me to get the $4.50 insurance but that company charged me $9.00 and it was just me and there was no option to select just one person...appeared like a scam trick. i was also not able to speak with hotel morgan directly about making a reservation.

Easy check in, great location, modern decor.

The staff was amazing, the young man at the front desk was very helpful. Rooms are well lit and clean.

This is very charming hotel with lots of character! What a gem in the middle of Morgantown! The hotel is well maintained and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! We were disappointed that we were not staying more than one night! Definitely planning another trip back to the Hotel Morgan!

Wonderful tight and right modern renovation of a majestic old property. An actual working hotel in a sea of meritless motels. Easy valet service and easy walking neighborhood with great restaurants and clubs. Definitely a go to pick: Morgantown is a favorite overnight on longer car trips both north and southbound.

Comfortable and super easy access to main High street in downtown WVU. Close to campus, within walking distance and staff very kind!

Loved our host! He have great advice and even turned on tbe ballroom lights so we could take a picture. Highly recommend!!

The Morgantown Hotel is like walking into a 1940's hotel. Very well taken care of and our room was excellent. Bed was so comfy I didn't want to get out of it. We wish we had had time to explore the area, but alas was on our way back home!

Cool old hotel. Right in historic downtown. Room was nice. Bath and shower were very nice. Check out the view from the ballroom on the 8th floor.

Hotel was quiet. Bartender was friendly. Beds are super comfortable!

Stayed for 1 night. I would have given the hotel 5 stars but the staff fell short. We were told at check-in that the restaurant would open at 7am. We went down to the restaurant and 8:05. A woman was behind the counter. She looked at us but didn’t say anything. We asked if we ordered at the counter and she responded “ yes in 5 to 10 minutes.” She was not friendly or very happy. We walked down the street to find some place that would be happy to serve us breakfast. At checkout my wife voiced her concerns to the desk. The gentleman at the desk said he knew that she was late to work but didn’t know why. We took the manager’s card and tried to contact him but didn’t get a response. This is a very nice hotel but some of the staff definitely needs to work on hospitality.

The staff was amazing and went out of the way to get us a room on the 6th floor away from the wedding noise that was there. The valets were awesome, the whole trip was worth it!!!

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms were very well appointed, well decorated and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only wish would have been to have had a window with a view of the town. Instead, we had a large air conditioning unit taking up the entire window space. Would definitely stay here again.
