Hotel Morgan a Wyndham Hotel

Clean property. Friendly staff.

The biggest surprise of our trip to Morgantown was this wonderful hotel. The downtown isn't much to speak off but this hotel was an Oasis in an otherwise very average area. The curb appeal is very nice, however a sweep of all the dead spotted Lantern Fly along the entryway would have been nice. Best hotel for the price my wife and I have encountered in years. Excellent service and the aura this building exudes is exemplary. It makes you feel like you've entered another world when you walk in and experience its ornateness.

The location is amazing and the rooms are clean and well updated. We love the historic charm and location. It is very pricey on game weekends.

Very nice stay over. Easy walk to everything. The back stairwell was not marked well and ends up in the kitchen. Should be well marked staff or emergency only.

We had a wonderful weekend at Hotel Morgan! All the non management employees were fabulous, always greeted with warm smiles and big hellos. Allison in the lounge was always above and beyond , Joe and Taylor(might be Tyler) were cherry and helpful. The PMC staff as well were also really great. The room was clean and the beds are super comfy!

Bring your own coffee maker!! Otherwise, you will need to make an early-morning trip down to the lobby for a little paper cup of coffee!

Pains me to leave this review as I’ve stayed here before and had a better time. Also the staff was friendly and helpful. It has a nice bar still which is great. That said, the room was awful. It smelled like wet mold. The shower and toilet were not well cleaned. We asked for room service every day and never received it. The staff shrugged that fact off as if they were aware the cleaning staff was a problem. I’ll add, the bed and pillows are terribly uncomfortable. Just an overall poor and very dirty experience. Won’t be staying again.
