Scholar Morgantown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

We have been coming here for nearly 10 years and love this place. The staff are absolutely superb, (shout-out to the manager Shaina-she's the best!!) - friendly and helpful, many have been there for years and they remember us! The rooms are beautiful and beds are comfortable. The location is great to walk to the restaurants, shops and the Amphitheatre for concerts in the summer! Can't wait to go back again!

Clean room, clean bathroom, good nights sleep. Parking was free & right next door. My only complaint would be the temperature of our room was a bit warm and adjusting the thermostat didn’t seem to change it much. Otherwise, decent stay.

Size of rooms. Though pictures were deceiving The staff they started out nice enough, but when our key card wouldn't work, they were rude and didn't want to assist us so we could reenter the room. I will not stay there again.

Location to thinga we needed to attend the next day. Room fridge wasn't really cold.

Staff was great including Tyler who made me coffee at 5:30 in the morning because our coffee maker in our room didn’t work

Front desk staff were friendly. Room was clean. They accommodated parking our tall car in an uncovered lot next door. Plus location was walkable for restaurants/beverages.

The room rate was high, parking was an extra change. It was downtown, so location was good. The room was a bit long in the tooth. Looked to be redone a couple years back but not well keep up. Almost, likes its the preferred party hotel for WVU students. Plus the party went on late on the floor above. Since I was there to pick up my daughter and only 1 night, no sense in complaining.

The rooms were huge and super comfortable

Only issue was the noise one could hear from the bar across the street from the hotel, Von Blaze, very loud until the early hours of the morning. No noise ordinance in Morgantown?

Parking is never easy at this location. quite difficult to park and to walk to the entrance. Rooms are nice, have a lot of room. pillows are like rocks.

The skirt around our bed was messy - not a big deal yet noticed. Room desk was a little worn. Bathroom door was very difficult to slide. Otherwise great!

Tyler was great help with my night time check-in.

Everything was great with the property, the suite and the staff. One issue is the bar across the street has a rooftop bar that is open until 3:00-3:30 am, we had a suite in the front of the hotel - the noise from the bar was super loud, we could not sleep.

I love staying here. The rooms are clean, its right downtown and shanna the general manger as well as staff are amazing
