Holiday Inn Express Raleigh Durham Airport by IHG

This hotel has great water pressure for showers which can be a challenge for most it seems. Breakfast was great. The only downside was the cable signal kept getting lost or scrambled, so a big part of my stay over 3 days and 2 nights didn’t involve having a TV. It mainly happened during the early evening and last overnight when most of my time was spent in my room. The staff would only tell me the maintenance team was gone for the evening and they would have someone check it out the next morning. It happened both nights which is very concerning and aggravating.

Despite requesting housekeeping, my room was never cleaned. The housekeeping staff was also unfriendly and did not seem interested in helping. Most of the front desk staff were kind and professional. However, one male employee was very unprofessional and left a negative impression on my stay. Overall, I expected a much better experience. I hope management addresses these issues by improving the cleanliness, customer service, and the atmosphere at the hotel’s entrance.

It is ridiculous to collect a $100 deposit for incidentals as there is nothing to buy at this hotel. And after leaving 7 days ago it still hasn't been refunded to my card. This is corrupt way for this corporation to use our money for over a week interest free!

Great location and friendly staff.

Incase nobody tells you, YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING! Nobody told me and now I have parking tickets to pay. I pay for the room and amenities but apparently parking is not one of them. The room was sub par and kind of dirty. You can tell they don’t clean with doors shut because behind them was lint, hair and crumbs from the previous clients. The shower also had hair all over the walls. It was an act of congress to get anything cleaned, fresh towels or a properly working AC.

Good value and good location

The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. Having a small fitness center to access was a bonus for me. I stayed 5 nights while visiting family in Raleigh.

There was a smashed roach on the ceiling.

It had the most comfortable bed and pillows I’ve ever slept on. I could have stayed in bed all day. Shuttle driver was a great guy. Very accommodating and cheerful!

I was charged for the room on AMEX and also VISA , charged twice due to the hotels.com app not processing the AMEX charge in time for me to use the room, no correction was made by the hotel or hotel.com

Very close and convenient travel to the airport. The hotel shuttle driver was the best!! Keep that guy around!! I would stay here again just from my experience with him!
