Will NEVER STAY AGAIN, poor management
-
We're a family a 4 that drove from MA to NC to visit extended family. For its intent and purpose, the room was a fantastic way to end the day. No frills, no extras needed. Just a shower and a bed. Why a 4 star? 1 particular day we had housekeeping enter the room when it wasnt requested. Though the room was booked for 4 people, we kept getting towels, soaps, etc for 3 people and had to keep asking for extra. The price and location for our travels (we went to many places such as Jacksonville, Mebane, etc) was excellent. The staff is nice. Will definitely book again.

Staff made the stay worthwhile. It's a typical airport/hotel stay. Good time though.

the beds are definitely not queen sized despite what they tell you. breakfast is VERY minimal and could be cleaner overall

The room was extremely small I guess that is why it is called Micro tel. My room was not cleaned or towels replaced. I checked out early and they still sent me an email asking if I’m checking out it. You leave your key card in a jar. I had an early flight so I checked out at 4:30 am.

It was clean, had a comfortable bed, hot water for my shower, free coffee, free airport shuttle. Had a good rest.

Had to get full refund due to BLACK MOLD. I noticed a large patch ( about 12” by 12”) of black fuzzy (likely toxic) mold in room 114 when I moved the pillow on the seating by the window. This explained the bad smell I noticed and my allergic symptoms. I notified the front desk nighttime guy, who became very hostile. When i asked for full refund, he offered another room #220 at around 11 pm after telling me there were no rooms left. Since it was very late on a Friday, I said ok. Went up to room by myself and immediately saw another large patch of fuzzy black mold on the bathroom ceiling near the air vent. See PICTURES. Came down and demanded full refund. He had no name tag and there was no name on the “manager on duty” placard so I took his picture (he wouldnt tell me his name). He threatened to call the police because I had to take his picture to document. I said “ go ahead and call the police” and sat down in the lobby. He said he isn’t “on social media” and demanded I delete the picture. He then said he has all my info, implying some sort of retaliation on his part. He then followed me outside while filming me with his phone and called me “less educated” (lol). I got the full refund and left. Receipt shows his name might be “Raj”. A friendlier other person had checked me in. Worst hotel experience ever, and I spend a lot of days in hotels. Other guests and housekeeping are at serious health risk so I notified the proper health authorities.

Location Minimal breakfast, bed was hard, fridge didn't work-took a whole day to get it replaced and some of my food went bad, AC in room was temperamental- sometimes when you turned it lower it got hotter, safe was broken and couldn't be used, shower curtain was ripped and falling off, very thin walls and could hear conversations in next room, hair dryer only worked on 1 speed even though supposed to have 2-button broken, room was TINY
