Bayfront Inn at the Waterfront

Pretty shotty motel.

Great stay. Room was comfortable. Would def stay here again.

The location of the hotel is awesome and couldn't have been better. The room in the hotel on the on the other hand was pretty run down. There was no ac which is fine since the hotel is almost on the waterfront but the fan in the room didn't work and the lightning was terrible. The hotel wifi would only and barley work if the front door was open. The staff was very nice I was just dissapointed in the room. I have stayed in other places in Morro Bay that were way nice for the same price.

The last room available at this place and unfortunately...I booked it through EXPEDIA. Its door connected to the office. I’m not sure it is an actual rental and looked like a spare staff room. I really I paid over $300 per nite (1) for this room in a pretty rundown motel. Great location, bad Motel. I don’t the sheets were washed from the last time it was rented and in general the room was unclean. Way too much money for a dumpy room (#28). I’m not sure it would pass a county health inspection nor should anyone pay over $300 for this room. The Motel owners should be embarrassed and I cannot believe a company like EXPEDIA endorses a Motel like this???

Location is excellent but the rooms are shabby and in desperate need of renovation. Check-in is at 3 p.m. but the office closes at 5 p.m., which is very strange.

Cet hébergement est très bien situé , plusieurs restaurants à proximité, très belle vue avec un stationnement facile d’accès. Un peu vieillot , pas d’air climatisé et moustiquaire qui ne ferme pas bien. La brioche offerte est un must!

This location was very ideal. Across from the waterfront. Walking distance to restaurants and small shops. Felt almost like a small boutique motel. Sheeys and towels were clean. We booked early to get a good price. Now, the disappointment. On this website, we booked a specific room which were options. The specific room we booked had a waterfront view and a king size bed. I had called to confirm and to notify them of our small dog. Confirmation of room #20. We arrived during check-in window time. I believe he was the owner. He gave us our room assignment. Paid the pet fee of $30. He implied that he was only charging me for one night instead of two for the pet. The website stated $30/stay. I assumed that would be the charge. Was he really giving us a deal, was that misleading on the website? I was tired and took our things to the room. After realizing, my fault, I didn't go back to the office. The room was very small. We had to wait for each other to move aside to get to the bathroom. The bed was a queen size not king we booked. The floor felt dirty, sandy, but we are near the beach. Bathroom sink did not have hot water. The shower was acceptable. Mini fridge and coffee maker in room. No A/C but mini window fan with 3 fans and only one worked. No microwave in room like website states but available to share in the galley room. If you want a budget room with a great location, this is it. Confirm your reservation.

Very cozy and cute place, could have housekeeping clean a little better, but other than that, it's great.

The gentleman checking me in was quite unprofessional and did not honor his stated pet policy for free service dogs. He insisted that he needed to charge $30 for the dog, no matter what and continued on about how he’s not making money, etc. The room was poorly maintained with a filthy, dusty popcorn ceiling around the ceiling fan, tiles in the shower and around the sink in the bathroom were cracked and coming apart. The flooring in the bathroom was cracked and lifting up while attempting to be covered up by a throw rug and the bathroom vent was caked with dust and filth, appearing to not have been cleaned for a very long time. I would not recommend staying here nor will I stay here again. The positives of this hotel would strictly be the location is convenient, it has a nice view of Morro Rock, and the free breakfast cinnamon rolls from the bakery next-door were pretty yummy.

Although it's an older motel, it was clean and comfy!

We stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful stay. Clean room, comfortable bed, Krueg coffee maker and you get free fresh baked cinnamon rolls every morning. Great location.

Left within 10 minutes. Room was claustrophobic and poor lighting. Just felt closed in. Very nice staff. Check in was easy and they offer cinnamon rolls for free. Unfortunately I checked out a returned my key due to the room. Outside patio looked nice

The owner was very friendly. They have some rooms for people with pets. Parking was easy and plentiful. The place was literally a minute walk to the ocean which was very nice. I would stay there again.

The rooms could use some updating

For the location and amazing view, I would stay here again. The price is high but cheaper than anyplace else in this area that accepts pets. We had a great stay.

The shower curtain was moldy. The TV did not work. Spider webs everywhere. Don't let the location fool you. Nice location but the facility was not.
