Motel 6 Morro Bay, CA

Great place to stay. Nothing fancy but it does the the job well.

The bed seemed like it did not belong, making the room very small. The A/C did not keep it cool, and it made noise like it was on its last leg. I was disappointed to not find bath soap or shampoo. I had to door dash some. Maybe they do not come with it and I did not read fine print, not sure. But when you pay $250 a night for a place, 2 star hotel or not, you would think it would come with those. Every other hotel in Morro does including 2 star hotels. We stayed here over 25 years ago, bad experience. I said I would never stay again. But our friend told us about the renevations. So we thought we would try again. But sadly I will not stay again

The room was fairly clean besides the bedsheet which was probably stained but well cleaned. The fridge didn’t work or I just didn’t know how to turn it back on. Awesome stay though! Definitely surpassed my expectations.

Run down motel, booked out of desperation, otherwise add $50 more per nigh somewhere else.

Clean Room and staff was very friendly

It was a decent stay. Bed wasn't the most comfortable, but cant complain good spot to rest and leave the next day.

Everything about this hotel was horrible.

Over all this place has gone in the tank since new owners. I will never stay here again. My room should have came with a fridge and when asked about it, I was told you didn't get the right room. I asked to upgrade and was told no!! They have gang members living there and their pitbulls.

If you love Morro Bay & just need a room to sleep & shower...this will suffice! The gal at the desk was great! She needs a raise!

Clean room, accessible to restaurants. It is also near to Morro Rock

Friendly staff and informative

I didn't have a spare hour and a half to haggle with you! Expedia! I will never use Expedia again. I will go through the hotel directly. I've been through that route before dealing with you guys. You make it so hard and a very negative experience. I seriously doubt anyone will read this. And I absolutely believe nobody will give a care. You're just on top of the every Tower counting your money. We are blue-collar, retired people a veteran and retired first responder. We deserve better than dealing with a greedy metal man.

I liked king size bed most places only queen

Manager was super friendly and responsive!! Rooms are clean and modern updated and clean! Plenty of ice and laundry machine working and clean! Easy parking and great views and close walk to the beach and Morro park! Awesome coffee in the mornings!

Every thing is ok but the room are really small and the windows are permanently closed so if you travel with a dog you can not open the door and the window its not really nice the location is perfect walking distance to the beach but the coffee is only black no cream no milk so gas station it’s good option to have some coffee with cream

The room was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The one staff member I met in the front desk. He was lovely informative, talking about the Morro rock and local amenities. Parking was simple lots of parking. We got a spot right outside our door. We didn’t have to use the laundry facilities so I don’t know about that, but it seemed easy. It was easy to find on the map. Right next to a community park so there was a couple baseball games going on of locals that was nice entertainment while we were watching the World Cup. We just stayed one night and had to leave pretty early in the morning and the hotel was very convenient right next to Highway one where we could hop on and hop off close To take out pizza and coffee so definitely will stay there again
